I love all Randomizer quests, so that is the sole base of my rating. 5/5

Here I was thinking that nothing could top Randomizer BS. I was, of course, wrong.

Can't wait for Randomizer Omega. This is some seriously amazing stuff. The only problem I would see is the hardcoded item limit in the quest, but I'm sure you could probably do some weird crap with zscript, like multiple item in one tricks, to bypass that.

May I recommend PTUX for the next randomizer?

I found all 300 items in Both Light and Dark Overworlds plus 24 more in Lost Overworld. I also love the BS and Outlands Overworlds. This is definite best. Next Game will be Randomizer Omega with 500 Items which includes upgraded rupee ring with triple rupee and Magic Keys for each overworld

At long last, after 35 hours, I have finished this quest with everything in the quest. For evidence: Here and here.

So, this is definitely an awesome remake of Randomiser Super, especially with the neat extras (like the 3rd quest sets and the bonus content in the end). The Koten graphics make this quest look really nice visually and the replayability with the randomised items is awesome once again. I really loved the Top Secret dungeon with the Phantoon-like boss and that Undertale style boss right at the end... amazing stuff man... you blew me away with that fight.

My only criticism is the post-game content. Optional or not, I felt like the majority of it was unnecessary. Yes, I did complete every BS and Outlands dungeon, but if we had like even more items or something it would make things more enjoyable (though I get you'll probably run out of items eventually)... or just remove them entirely since they seem useless. The Battle Tower and the Top Secret dungeon were probably the highlight of the whole quest, some amazing stuff there.

Overall, I had so much fun with this quest, and while the BS and Outlands part of the quest is kinda unneeded IMO, this quest still is a really great Randomiser entry. I wonder if there will ever be a Randomiser Omega now :P

5/5 from me.

This review contains spoilers.

The Legend of Zelda style dungeons are not for everyone, most people are usually spent after a set of eight (and a final level nine) dungeons. Now shuffle the items around and place them in a staggering eight sets of dungeons, on top of that each set ending with a final enemy gauntlet romp mounting up eventually to a final FINAL gauntlet. If that doesn't sound like a daunting challenge, it actually isn't as the items and upgrades will power you up until you reach a plateau where even the toughest enemies pose no threat, to which the routine becomes dive into a dungeon, seek out the items, hope its the triforce at the end, unless you are a completionist and just grab everything and go.

Spoiler

Like the previous randomizer quests its got that same weird feeling that I get as I dive farther in: The side/bonus content is always more interesting than the main entree (as at this point it can really drag on for a long time being eight full zelda 1 dungeon sets and all). Why can't said content take the main stage for once? I guess such quests wouldn't be 'game' randomizer quests now would they? Its good to play in bursts but I'd advise against playing it in one long monotonous session.

Let's start with the obvious. It's like if Super Randomizer and Randomizer Outlands had a baby, and it's the usual Randomizer goodness. You know how it works: start with a randomly generated item and work your way through dozens of dungeons to gain enough power to reach the endgame. Unlike Randomizer Outlands, you can access all 8 initial sets of dungeons straightaway, and that has both positives and negatives. It's much easier to feel overwhelmed by the sheer volume of dungeons, but the odds are greater of finding useful items for mobility and dungeon discovery early on in these sets. Once you have the Ladder and a burning object of some kind, you're golden to find 90% of all the dungeons available to you, as Bombs are readily available from the word go.

Of course, Randomizer does come with the usual Randomizer weaknesses of impending God Mode. At some point, the enemies in the dungeons will fail to prove a challenge anymore and then it becomes you versus the layouts instead of you versus the entire dungeon and there is a certain level of tedium involved when you need to kill a room full of enemies that prove no challenge; particularly if you missed that one item in that one dungeon early on for one reason or another. The good news is that, for the most part, the new dungeons balance puzzling elements without becoming overly tedious. I can think of only one new dungeon I spent a particularly long time in and I'm sure most players who ran ahead of me know which one that is. The old dungeons are the same as they were, mostly. Certain dungeons have been re-balanced to make them less tedious and boring.

There are also Quality of Life changes which were badly needed. For example, in prior Randomizers, you need to defeat a specific Level 9 to access the final area. While that is still true to an extent, now you no longer need to trudge back through every Level 9 to access the penultimate areas. These areas are centralized and easily accessible, which is a vast improvement over previous Randomizers. Moving between worlds is not hard either. Light and Dark can be traversed just a couple of screens away from start, meaning that no matter where you start, you'll find your way back to where you want to be easily. The triple Whistle system from the last Randomizer adds additional needed mobility. Another thing I enjoyed was a relatively difficult final boss. Sure, I went in the first time with 224 items "only", but I got nearly taken out, something I couldn't say about the final boss in Outlands.

Then we get to the elephant in the room... 100%-ing the game. This is where Randomizer usually falls down, as the rewards range from non-existent to token at best. But this time, there is a very tangible reward for achieving 100% and I can say with all due honesty that this is the first Randomizer quest I would recommend completing 100% for people other than sheer completionists. Yes, it will take a lot of effort, but the payoff is spectacular.

If you don't like the Randomizer format, there's little here to change your mind. For those who want to face down a menacing gauntlet of dungeons with random elements, I would highly recommend giving this a go. You will enjoy it greatly.

This is the first Randomizer Quest I've played. And from the little I've seen from the original ones, I think it was a good choice choosing this one. I'm not such a good review writer, but I'm giving it a 4 out of 5 stars. I'll do my best to try to explain why.

First of all, the idea of making a quest replayable by implementing this... unique randomizing system is actually pretty good. However, like I've read from reviews from your previous entries, these quests have potential. All you need to do is fulfill said potential to its maximum. The first randomizer was good because it was Z1 with a twist. But, once you keep exploiting the same dungeons over and over again, it feels less exciting and gets to the point where you actually grow tired of it. The new dungeons were fun at the beginning, but tend to drag you if you decide to complete 100% (which is totally optional), or worse.

This quest can let you down if you keep exploring millions of dungeons with familiar layouts in search of one specific item you need in another dungeon; my case was I couldn't beat Levels 4 onward from the first quest because I couldn't find the ladder. Once I found it, it must have been 6 or 7 dungeons I wasted my time on looking for it. And, I know it's supposed to be kinda like a dungeon romper quest and all, but sincerely, I can't see the point of having 9 sets of dungeons, especially if all have familiar layouts. Like some have previously stated, this would be a great quest, probably among the top quests in PZC, if only the gameplay was better organized and properly thought of. Like I said, it can turn into a drag if you can't beat a dungeon (especially if a triforce fragment is in it) if you don't have a specific item and need to search for it in a thousand dungeons.

But, nonetheless, I had a lot of fun playing it, and I found it a challenge in some points, but the table turns pretty quickly once you find overpowered items. Once that happens, the game becomes more of a chore than fun. Still, it's a good and entertaining quest, thus, why I rate it with a four. :)

So I've finally finished this quest: http://postimg.org/image/w874isdzv/

With just 2 items short... 1 in the level9 Armoury and 1 in the level 9 Wizzrobe... Just can't find them!

Great quest, really enjoyed it! Even if I'd played most of the levels before, it's still worth doing!

Finally solved it !!!! Think I am the first to achieve this on PureZc, could be wrong tho... : http://postimg.org/image/xrqs1h5cr/
