I had a great adventure, and got some great things Crystal Spring Bananas, oh!? Do Russ and Moosh like to eat banana?

This quest has many interesting things especially scripted bosses/minibosses and scripted items. With using items well to defeat the postgame final bosses aren't too hard. The dungeons are designed well on main story, I felt some scenes are a bit severe though. The postgame dungeons have many severe scene, but I think they are challenging, it's not problem there.

I don't think I'm personally good at writing reviews, but this one's worth a try. I have just beat Finnigan Mode and got the password (would the opposite of Creators be Fixers? Maybe one of those could be useful, I wonder...), and well, this was a wild ride. A wild, bloody banana of a ride.

The story was a bucket of chuckles, it didn't take itself too seriously but took itself just seriously enough for me to at least care and enjoy it for what it is.
The bosses and sub-bosses were all quite interesting and fun. or frustrating. Don't think i have to elaborate on that.
I really enjoyed the map design, dungeons in special were fascinating to me, L3 in particularl was so intriguing i even forgot i was supposed to get a heart piece there until i was only missing it.
Having 2 playable characters is really fun, a good breath of fresh air. And the custom items were also good as far as they go. I will say, tho, that while I can understand the reasoning for it, I do find a bit of a waste that *those things* aren't avaliable during the post-game. I myself didn't actually get to use 3 of them at all and I admit i am still to boot up the game to see what they do.
Really fun quest, definitely recommend it, and I'll for sure go back and try Xaya mode at a later time

This quest is boring and badly designed IMO, and I don't mean just the tileset!

Wait, I never rated this yet?

One of the best quests in the database. Very well polished and suited for a very fair difficulty. It's short enough to revisit many times so the replayability is high with this quest.

This is a bit delayed, but here we are. :P This is a really fun quest. I can't really do it justice through a full review because I think a lot of it works best if experienced on your own. So, have some bullet points:
  • The dungeons and bosses are well constructed and mostly fair. I wasn't personally a huge fan of the final bonus dungeon, but the rest of the game is solid, and the boss fights at the end are very fun. I specifically think The Wall is one of my favorite boss fights in that it was tough, but never felt like it was unbeatable and just came down to learning and executing the best patterns.
  • The combat system is very interesting and a lot of fun. Input-based combos is something I'd love to see more of in ZC. In general the game has several unique gimmicks and does a great job of embracing them.
  • Excellent sound and music choices throughout (even if The Wall did result in it taking over a week to cleanse out a portion of sound that got my stream video taken down from YouTube)
  • The plot is a bit thin, but does at least seem to follow lines of logic and doesn't really take itself too seriously (one or two somewhat melodramatic moments aside).

Overall a very fun quest that I'd very much recommend. I played through it here if anyone wants to see it in action.

Man, where do I begin with this awesome quest? Everything about this quest was great. Screen design looks great, the items are amazing and the difficulty curve was pretty good. The humour was really funny with loads of hilarious jokes here and there (thanks for breaking my chain of having "Eddy" as every save file name). Every dungeon was unique with really cool scripted features and gimmicks which made them very fun to go through. Flappy Moosh was an amazing minigame too. I guess after having played Geometry Dash way too many times, I got through that minigame a lot quicker than I thought lol. So yeah, this was a magical adventure and I loved it a lot. I think the Magic Leaf or the Ice Kunai are my favourite items. So many awesome puzzles were made out of them, and they were amazing.

Of course though, there are the downsides (though kinda minor). For one, I noticed that enemies can walk through barriers like these which look kinda odd and can get annoying when they randomly walk through the barriers to hit you. I also noticed the ocean area of the quest is kinda bland. Screens like these could use a bit of touching up, even if it's adding some rocks on the screen, I think it would look a bit better if there's more detail (though I do understand making screens full of water interesting is hard to do). I also found these clockwork things really irritating to get by. Sometimes I move to the platform, other times I just fall of the edge even though it doesn't even look like it. In the Creator's Realm especially, I had trouble getting from the clockworks to the platform because of this issue. I did get past it eventually, but again, it got annoying.

This one's very minor, but it appears I got this Hardhat Beetle stuck in the corner and had to leave and return to knock him into the hole. Some of these trees also look of coloured. Intentional? The top of this vine looks weird too compared to the grass above it. Pretty sure it's spelled as "sulphur" (or "sulfur"). That map also doesn't look right. This happens when I fall from the screen above. Thank god the Fistmos is there, but still, that doesn't look right lol. I also noticed the final dungeon had quite a couple odd bugs and glitches with enemies and warp tiles (which I've mentioned elsewhere already).

Finally, that final boss was intense as hell. It's funny because I cleared The Wall on my first try and then my death count skyrocketed from 38 to 90 in the 2nd phase. I kinda felt like that boss was a bit too intense and annoying, but I did get through it in the end and the ending was definitely worth the long and annoying battle (gotta love them replacement graphics).

Overall, this was a really awesome quest. There were a couple issues, however that doesn't detract from the amazing quality this quest has. I'd give this around a 4.8/5 for me, which rounds up to a 5. You both did great, and this definitely is Quest of the Year material for me.

Great job!

This gets 5 stars easily. The excelent overworld (even though it was small, it was really well designed), the funny story, the awesome scripted items like the Leaf Fan and Moosh transformation, the awesome music choice (any game with Terranigma music gets a 5/5 in my book) and it's overall great.

I may have complained about the last post-game dungeon, but that's because i wasn't honestly prepared for it. As soon i got used to it, it went relatively smooth. The final boss is really hard and did made me angry, but beating it gave me that high i get when i beat a hard as hell NES game, and i love that.

Is there any chance of a sequel or something similar? Because if you guys can do something this good in two weeks, i can imagine how awesome that game would be if it had more development time.
