dropC - The former half is a little repetitive, but I like the campy rock vibe around it. The cool volume switches at 1:37 are particularly notable. Nice use of tubular bells too. Everything around the middlepoint (string use) is pure gold.

Lonesome - I don't understand how you pump out so many motifs and fit them together with the recurring clean guitar motif. There's quite a bit of meat on this song, and it's all semi emotional teen angst type stuff.

Lash - Aggressive from the start. I just don't understand this kind of music. A lot of perfect fifth intervals I'm guessing?

Fortune - Excellence from beginning to end. The cymbals are a little disruptive.

Forest - A little slow and campy in a bad way, but the others seem to like it just fine, so it may only be my opinion.

Turmoil - I was trying to figure out what was going on in the beginning, but it sets off after that with more perfect intervals and properly accompanying drums.

I liked the Forest one best. It was so simple, but beautifully captured the feeling of being surrounded by trees as far as you see. It would also serve very well as a story theme. I didn't like the heavy electric guitar later on, but that's okay.

dropC: Nice!Sounds pretty good!It would make a nice bgm for the introduction and prologue. Also sounds like decent battle music.I love the rock'n'roll feel.Awsome! The transition at the middle is awsome. The whole song is sweet5
Lonesome: Very nostalgic and very good!Sounds sad.I love the guitars about 1/3 away through, followed by the voice/halo pad.I really loved this song5
Lash: The guitars sounds great and what a nice melody4
Fortune: Sounds kind of dark, sweet nevertheless4
Forest: What a mastery of the guitars. The flute is nicely done!So pleasant sounding.Awsome for a forest. The best of the pack.
Turmoil: The intro stinks.but it gets better. Then the guitar melody kicks in and its all good now. Then it gets repetative. Then the high pitched guitar and trumpet starts and its awsome again.
I liked forest, Lonesome, and DropC the best!

I really could use these for Doom WADs and RPG Maker files just as well as Zelda music. Nice job here, Midiman.

I like "Fortune"

"Lash" sounds like it would be the new theme to Darth Vader by System of a Down only the long ringing is kinda annoying...but it's a mostly cool metal song.

"Turmoil" has a nice sound to it. The high guitar at the begining sounds like Wizards and Warriors or something like it. When it gets fast it sounds like a good hard rock song.

So i give these a 4 in musical goodness.
But if I were to rate them on thier benifit to video games I would have to rate them 1 or 2...they just don't work for quests.

Here's my favorites from this collection:
Forest - I find it quite difficult to find a good forest theme. This one qualifies as a good one.
Fortune - Would be good for an evil palace or something.
Turmoil - Sounds like something that would fit well in a desert dungeon.

I can definitely see myself using them.
