Mac&Blue is a Japanese freeware game. When DarkFlameWolf wanted a totally new style tileset, she gave me images of M&B to turn them into a tileset, later
Blaman gave more images and some invaluable links. These images are the base of the tileset, but many tiles are cusom or adopted. I
started out from DoR2.0 by Radien. Let's see what you can find in the tilepage:

1. Main character tiles:
Dlbrook's new Link tiles are being used. Originally they were optimalized for Game Maker, but they work well in M&B, too.

2. Item sprites:
Most are edit of DoR items (e.g. arrow), some are edit of M&B objects (e.g. amulet) and some are custom (e.g. hearts and weapons). I also left most of
those DoR items in that wasn't needed to be deleted to gain more empty space.

3. Subscreen:
The frames are DoR or DoR edits, the miniatures are DoR edits. The Triforce piece is a pearl, the big Triforce is a big pearl, so the Triforce frame is a
jewellery holder.

4. Enemies:
All are new. Most are from Dragon Warrior (NES), some are custom, some are from Stratropics (NES) and a very few are from Demon Crest and the Mana series.
Boss enemies have the neccessary sprite CSet applied, they don't use the main palette (Graphics=>Palettes=>Sprites).
Aquamentus (l/r) - ESP 1 cset 0
Digdogger (x kids) - ESP 1 cset 2
Dodongo (with cset fix) - ESP 1 cset 2
Dodongo (BS) - ESP 1 cset 2
Gleeok (x heads) - ESP 1 cset 1
Gleeok 2 (x heads) - ESP 1 cset 13
Ganon - ESP 1 cset 3
I left the extra enemies at the side, because I didn't need that place for anything.

5. Overworld:
The following (interchangable) area types are present, right after the base ground types: Road, Forest, Ruins and Oasis. They have own palettes, but almost
all DoR overworld palettes are kept unchanged, too. Then come the water tiles, elements and extra overworld tiles.

6. Settlements:
They don't have own palette, but the buildings, themselves vary from poor through port to rich with their own decorations.

7. Interiors:
The interior CSets have a slightly customized structure version, but many have just new colours. The themes are the same like in the settlements. This is
the section where it's most visible that the game Mac&Blue takes place later than medieval, but there are many medieval/ancient tiles, too.

8. Caves:
The palettes are strongly custom by sacrificing colour variety in favor of colour depht. There are mine and lava tiles, but you can make mud, plant and ice
areas with using all palettes, too.

9. Dungeons:
The palettes are the slightly changed versions of the DoR palettes (less colour variety, more colour depht). There's no water/lava CSet, instead it is:
CSet 2: main CSet (connecting to the palette's title)
CSet 3: main interior CSet (sometimes customized to said palette), so that you can use house objects
CSet 4: overworld CSet that matches the palette's theme
Sometimes there's no overworld CSet, but there's two of either main CSets or interior CSets.

10. Characters:
CSet 7 and 10 are the NPC CSets. NPCs are the four direction walking/standing version of differently aged males and females from many society types and
jobs. There are also many (not just farm) animals.

General tips:
-Use fast scrolling through the combo sidebar with PgUp/PgDn, while you press Shift or Ctrl.
-Use + and - to change CSets (if you have laptop, hold the Fn key) also be aware that the palette that ZQuest shows can differ from what you set
to the said area in the DMap menu
-you can easily change palettes if you use the 1,2,3, 4,5 and 6 number keys. You can decrease/increase the red, green, blue colours respectively.

Style of M&B:
If you make new tiles, consider that altough the usual DoR/Pure style objects might work, true M&B items have little to no outline (black is usually just
the darkest shade) and shapes are displayed through shading, not with dark lines. For example, compare the default DoR/Pure ladder with the M&B ladder which
is nothing more or less than the M&B version of the same ladder used in DoR2.0.

Now I wish you choose this tileset, enjoy making quests with it and they become successful. Don't forget to tell your opinion/suggestions/complaints so
that I can make a "M&B Update Extreme" or such. You, too, can make it if you really like this tileset. You also can submit the improved versions of tiles
into the database or make completely new tiles in M&B style.

Enjoy!
