History
*******
If you've played the quest you've probably figured out that
it started as a remake of Ocarina of Time. But for originality,
I added a character I'd created for a previous game(not a Zelda
Quest) called Cronos. This character was a knight, and seeing
how much harder it is to beat a Death Knight than Ganon, I
added him as the final boss. With the addition of this
character I had to change the storyline and also the legend
that came with it.

The Legend of Time
******************
Before the land was born, there lived only gods. There were
but six of these heavenly beings and they went by the name of
"sage". Each sage represented each of the six elements of life;
Forest, Fire, Water, Shadow, Spirit and Light. From these six
elements spawned the land of Hyrule. But with such a gift as
that of life, comes great responsibilities, and so the sages
created destiny.

" Come one billion years, three children of destiny shall
   be born;
The Monster: A being created out of pure evil to test
the state of good in the world.
The Hero: The chosen one, created to uphold good and
destroy The Monster with the aid of the sages.
The Wiseman: A holy embodiment created to control the
		    power of the sages.

And by these children, each bearing the mark of the
Triforce on the backs of their hand, a future shall be
generated, whether it be good, or evil, or non-existant. "

With this, the sages vowed that the balance of power would
remain true until this day, and so installed their power into
six sacred medallions, and a magical instrument known as the
Ocarina of Time. This flute had the power to unlock the essence
of the sages, sealed in the medallions. To make sure that it
was not missused, only The Hero, one true of heart could use
the Ocarina.

But what if a mortal attempted to upset the balance? To
prevent this action, the sages created three golden triangles
known as the Triforce and sent them to the three corners of the
earth. The power of the Triforce was so great that it was able
to control every hylian in existence, but should one attempt to
weild this power for themselves, they would become invincible,
with infinite strength and enough power to destroy the sages
and reign as the one and only Ruler of Hyrule for eternity.

The Story
*********
Deep beneath the surface of Hyrule, a great evil was brewing.
The evil Moblin King, Ganon, was planning an assult, an attempt
to seize the Triforce for himself and bathe in it's golden
power of immortality. But there was one problem. Ganon had no
idea where the Triforce lay. However, until they died out, the
Triforce had been guarded by the race known as the Sheikah.
These people also served the royal family of Hyrule, and so the
King came to the conclusion that the Sheikah must have passed
the information on to the royal family in hopes of keeping the
Triforce safe. It was clear. Ganon needed to attack Hyrule
Castle and kidnap the princess if he was to ever obtain the
Triangles.

An epic war between Hylians and Moblins erupted. The evil
King stormed the Castle, and with his army of monsters was too
much for Zelda's troops. Just as the princess was about to
surrender herself, a rebel Darknut called Cronos burst through
the door, sword drawn, and slayed the evil Moblin King. The war
ended that day.

The Darknut explained to Zelda of how he is loyal to the
rightful ruler of Hyrule and not some tyrant. Cronos joined
forces with the princess and built his own castle in the desert
of Gerudo.

Ten years later, another evil was brewing. Whilst Ganon was
attacking Hyrule with full force, his son, Ganon Jr was
formulating a plan of his own should his father fail. Ganon Jr
grew to become Prince Darkness Ganon. Ganon knew the Legend of
Time like the back of his hand and developed a seemingly
flawless plan to obtain the Triforce. The Ocarina of Time lay
in the Temple of Time, and could only be accessed by obtaining
the three Keys of Time. So, Ganon hid all three keys deep
within three dungeons and guarded them all with an army of
monsters. Should this plan fail, and The Hero does obtain the
Ocarina, Ganon guarded each of the six Temples of Hyrule(each
one holding a medallion) with even more monsters. He would then
seal his own castle with a magical barrier that could only be
dispelled by the power of the sages and imprison Zelda inside
until she revealed the location of the Triforce to him.

Zelda knew that the day of destiny had come. The Monster,
Ganon, had attacked. The Hero, Link, a boy of just seventeen
born in the forest of Kokiri had a pure heart. And TheWiseman,
Zelda knew it was herself, as she also bore the mark of the
Triforce, and was born carrying a medallion of her own,
a seventh medallion needed to unlock the Triforce.

And so, Cronos went off in search of Ganon's lair, Zelda
remained in her castle in case Link needed assistance, and Link
was asked to retrieve the other six medallions, as they would
be needed to defeat Ganon once and for all.
