Young Link courageously sets off to find all eight triforce pieces and rescue Princess Zelda from the clutches of evil.

It's my first quest. Expect a high level of crudeness.

Public 4 Fixes

- renamed the quest. formerly known as LOZ: A Legend Retold

Public 3 Fixes

- public 2's continue bugfix introduced continue bugs in 2.10.0. this time, i fixed the bug for both versions 2.10.0 and 2.10.2. save points are the 9 dungeons, and continue points are created in two ways: by entering most caves or dungeons on the overworld (via entrance/exit warps), or by scroll warping to a new area of the overworld (but not if you play on 2.10.2).
- got rid of level 6's boss dmaps since they use scrolling warps.

Public 2 Fixes

- lvl 3 lingering goriya (should be an armos)
- lvl 3 throne missing layer 0 combos
- plant in jungle mismatch (can walk south onto the plant)
- lvl 6 boss sometimes fails to trigger the shutters
- lvl 6 room with invisible floor too difficult
- lvl 2 eye statue doesn't light up when shot with arrow
- lvl 4 boss tiles don't appear on the guy (room copied mismatch)
- lvl 4 entrance, link walks a couple steps up
- dungeon A entrance, link walks a couple steps up when he dies, getting stuck permanently
- overworld minimap not functional
- dungeon naming scheme and level naming scheme is confusing (people think dungeon 1 is level 1 in the readme)
- Level 6 basement dark rooms carry over.
- When you die in the overworld, the dmap attributes stay with you until you reach a new dmap.
- fixed the continue bug. if you die anywhere in the game and choose to continue, you will most likely restart from the last level you entered. if you save the game and quit, you will start at Link's house.
- labeled dmaps a bit more clearly inside zquest
- lvl 5's basement is now a full cave dmap
- lvl 4 too difficult/hints too obscure (need to visit lvl 5 multiple times)

Unresolved Issues

- Dungeon A's cutscene and boss is entirely optional.
- music too soft/low in some places. incorrect looping.
- if you experience crashing when the game begins, this is the no subscreen rule bug. start the quest in fullscreen mode if ZC crashes.
