|ABOUT|
+-----+

This, my friends, is a milkshake wearing sunglasses in the form of a small 32 pixel by 48 pixel sprite. That's 2x3 Zelda Classic tiles (which are 16x16 pixels each), if you aren't aware.

According to Bengal, the original drawing (that this sprite was based off of, located here: http://i240.photobucket.com/albums/ff49/NoirPZC/worstthingever.png) is the worst thing ever published to the Internet. I would have to disagree. There are much, much, stronger contenders, and a GIMP drawing of a milkshake wearing sunglasses is not going to make much of a strong negative impact on the Internet as a whole--it might amuse or bewilder people, but it certainly won't shock or disgust anyone. There have been far worse things published to the Internet, the majority of them originating from certain shady corners of the Internet that I'll not mention here. I suppose that makes the title false advertisement, then.
If anything, Bengal's drawing is possibly one of the better things published to the Internet in the past three years, give or take. I quite like the image. It has a certain charm to it that is not found in most Internet-published artwork these days, I think.

Anyway, I was entertained enough by the original image to create a low-quality sprite of it. It's not very good. The lid's rim looks more like a ring than a rim, and the sunglasses seem to use a different shading style (almost semi-realistic... almost) than the rest of the cup (blatant cel-shadery). Also, the buttons on the lid seem too close to the center. It's just not really a very good sprite, and there are certainly people who could outdo me in a heartbeat. Despite this, I kinda like it. It looks like it could possibly be something out of Earthbound, as others have pointed out, which is good enough for me (and strangely appropriate considering my name's origin). If it could fit right at home in Earthbound, then I'm doing something right.

I have recolored the sprite for use in four different tilesets:

- Classic (by Nintendo/Armageddon Games)
- New BS (v3.1) (by Radien)
- Dance of Remembrance (v1.9 or 2.0) (also by Radien)
- Pure Tileset Update Extreme (by Mr. Z)

The original tile and palette are also included, for whatever reason--however, the palette is poorly arranged and includes an extra shade of pink for absolutely no reason. Due to this, I would recommend against using it, and instead using one of the recolors or recoloring the original tile (it includes slightly more detail than any of the included recolors).

Included below in Section 4 is a list of intended CSets to be used for the tile, as well as a few alternate suggestions.

Also, I'm not certain if the tile will still be functional without recoloring of any sort in older versions of the listed tilesets. It might or might not; I've not tested. If you want to be safe, please use the latest version of any of the above tilesets.

Please enjoy. I spent a whole half hour on it!

I don't have any Frequently Asked Questions because nobody's going to ask any questions about this. Jeez, it's a sprite drawing of a milkshake wearing sunglasses. If you realllllly feel the need to ask a question, direct your commentvertisement-inquiry-spams to my PM boxarooni on PureZC (you'll need an account there):

|INTENDED CSETS|
+--------------+

CLASSIC TILESET (MilkshakeClassic.bmp): CSet 0
(Notes: The background of the image is pink to showcase the outline--the pink color will not show when ripping and ripping the palette is not necessary.

Included are two versions of the tile--the one on the left includes less detail, but uses only three colors in true NES fashion. The latter uses an additional shade of black for the outline and uses the grey color for shading, creating a more detailed image--if you use this one, MAKE SURE that color F (the LAST color) of CSet 0 is black if you don't want to have to recolor it!

It does not look good in any CSets other than 0 and you will have to recolor it regardless if you want to use it in any other CSet.)

NEW BS TILESET (MilkshakeNewBS.bmp): CSet 7
(Notes: Although it was drawn in CSet 7, it will look exactly the same in CSets 7-9, so it doesn't matter which you use. CSet 6 will give the cup a green color; CSet 1 will give it an orange color)

DANCE OF REMEMBRANCE TILESET (MilkshakeDoR.bmp): CSet 11
(Notes: CSets 7-10 will give the grey-shaded areas of it--its sunglasses and lid--a "tint". CSet 7 is blue, 8 is red, 9 is green, and 10 is purple. I'm not sure if this will be of any use to anyone, but it's worth considering. The cup itself will remain a fleshy color, which is quite awkward.)

PURE TILESET UPDATE EXTREME TILESET (MilkshakePTUX.bmp): CSet 11
(Notes: Wow, redundancy. ANYWAY... this is probably the best version of the tile. Although the sunglasses aren't shaded, it looks great in several different CSets. CSet 0 will give the cup a fleshy color, 1 will give it a green color, 6 gives it ANOTHER fleshy color, 7 is blue, 8 is red, 10 is purple, and 11--the intended CSet--is a dull grey.)

ORIGINAL PALETTE (MilkshakeOrigPal.bmp): *RIP THE PALETTE*
(Notes: Or recolor it. As stated in the intro it's not really a very good palette.)
