So, this is rather sudden, but due to some recent events, I think it's very important that this thread.
I am looking for someone with a similar level of enthusiasm for ZC and the community to co-run Quest Club's VCs. The unfortunate reality is that as it stands, the Quest Club Voice Calls happening being determined solely by whether or not I am able to is becoming unsustainable. I don't talk about this stuff publicly normally, however, for full transparency, I've dealt with a slew of serious mental health issues since September. This has been causing issues with me hosting sessions pretty consistently, to the point that this is something I've mulled over the last couple months, even.
For the time being, Russ will be assisting me as a temporary co-host, though his schedule for this is also inconsistent, which is why I am currently searching in the community. The sheer amount of activity of Quest Club has gotten continues to genuinely astound me, with how often people tune into the VCs, and it makes me insanely happy. So basically, don't take my burnout as "I'm not enjoying it anymore." It's just very stressful maintaining it as consistently as I do, and actively could really use the help.
Now then, you may be asking:
What is the responsibility of the co-host?
Your primary job of course, is to host Quest Club Voice Calls in the PureZC server when I am not able to. Of course, attending even when I am hosting is really appreciated, since I think community interaction is the point of these things. As far as smaller responsibilities, minor conversation steering if a conversation starts to get toxic and such are also appreciated skillsets to have with hosting.
That's not all that goes into it of course, there's stuff like managing the announcements for events, making sure the discord thread is easy to access being a really big one, as well as after each QC session, keeping a mental checklist of thoughts you have for the given session about the quest. These are all things I can assist with even if I am not specifically hosting, so if you have any questions about these particular bits, feel free to ask.
So yeah, that's the gist of it all. If anybody is interested, feel free to message me or vocalize your interest in this thread.
