[Deathrider]

HEY I did indeed survive into 2021!! This is a minor update, just to inform all that this is still a high passion project. I have been making long strides with the overworld and even some scripts that will affect regions and items. The overworld does now have a filled in 16x8 map that I am at this point fleshing out. I also have spent a lot of time on what some may consider minute details (custom tiles and extensive use of layers) that many may not notice but if you pay attention to those details and enjoy immersion, you will have a lot to look at here. Demo #2 does not yet have a projected date to release quite yet, being that I still need to think about where my many many dungeons will be placed as well as how each region is styled and unlocked during the course of the game. But overall just a lot of overworld development, and more and more scripting.

Sorry for the 6 month delay between posts, I will try and post every other month or so especially since the frequency of development has increased within the last 2 week after not looking at it for a couple months what with me ending college and starting work.

If you are one who is looking forward to this, do not lose that fire, for mine has only been getting hotter and hotter haha!

Good to hear you are still going strong with this quest. Like I said before I really liked the demo a lot.

 

And you already finished the main overworld? That's great! Can we expect a 16x8 overworld map in total, or will there be even more?

I plan on at least 2 small and 2 full sized overworlds, maybe more...
