How am I supposed to solve this? Oh why do I have to be so bad at puzzles.

Welcome to the village!

I ended up voting for Jared. That layout is amazing. Linkus was a very close second, but I must gather all 8 Triforce pieces first!

Voted Jared. I really love the layout and atmosphere!

bmc10011: Frozen pee? It's just that the ice looks really odd in that gold colour. Aside from that, I like the palette and tile choices, it does scream like a Level 8 to me. Puzzle seems cool too.

Linkus: This made my week. Sadly Jared's was just too good to pass up. I love the font though.

Not sure if that's cutoff or what with those moutains in the bottom left of Jareds shot, but It stands out a lot to me for some reason. Still a great shot though. My vote however, will remain a mystery. SUSPENSE!

!0_0! its like JARED and Shane are both 1 person or something .. //

My theory about Linkus

it's either a Sign or a Gameover screen but am not entirely sures.

puzzle adds to something i haves been thinking of for quite some time.

Even though i sincerely see a pushing puzzle mechanism or sword slashing puzzle of some kind,

unless the faces on the walls have anything to do with it as an assumption ..

I had to vote for Linkus for such a clever idea.   Very amusing!

bmc10011's screen is nice too.  Seems like I've seen that kind of puzzle somewhere before... but it was definitely in a different tileset, I know that much.

Jared's screen is nicely done, too! :)  A nice entrance screen for a village.  No paved pathways, but villages don't always have those, so I think it's all right! :)

A great week for tile choices.

bmc10011 - I love the tiles, although the screen design is quite basic.  So it can easily fall sort of other screens for that reason.  I'm sure it works well for its purpose of being a puzzle screen though.

Linkus - Did you make these tiles yourself, did you find them, or some of both?  They are fantastic.  They are a wonderful fit for a sign.  The font too.  Let this be a rare week that I vote for a rare screen that is neither overworld nor dungeon.

Jared - Welcome indeed.  I can't complain about the screen.  My only criticism, if you can call it that, is that it wasn't my #1 favorite for this week.

Really interesting set of screens this week!

bmc10011 - It looks good, though there are 2 main problems with this screen. For one, the yellow ice doesn't really make sense. Making it blue would be a lot better. Secondly, the blocks used clash horribly with the tileset used since the blocks look like they come from the classic set. You could probably use the ice blocks in EZGBZ instead.

Linkus - ScreenshotReview.exe has crashed due to a very unique shot that is really hilarious and very well made. Please submit another unique shot like this in order to fix this error. I am sorry for the inconvenience.

Jared - This is a really neat shot! I love the atmosphere and design as it really suits the style you're going for. Amazing job, voted here.

My critiques on this week's screenshots:

bmc10011: Just how will Link figure out the puzzle? My problem with it, although minor, is an issue people brought up: the yellow ice. I'm not sure why it's yellow, yet.

Linkus: Now that's an error screen I bet Link definitely runs into all of the time in these Zelda Classic quests. :P

Jared: I like the atmosphere and detail in this screenshot a lot. You really put a lot of effort into this screenshot.
