I also nulled, because I'm in the contest. Absolutely wonderful shots this week!! My screenshot feels out of place, being the only classic shot and the only shot that has so much red in it.

I wouldn't say that. Jared's shot is just as good (but has no subscreen indeed). I think this is gonna be a though competition here!

I like all of the shots and have had some difficulty in deciding.  I really want to vote for Jared's, because it stands out as something outrageously beautiful.  I also want to vote for Sheik's, because it is not only likewise outrageously beautiful, but also the Moblins look fantastic.  I have ultimately voted for Volgia's, because he manages to make the dungeon look good, which is not a common skill.

The curse has no effect on me if I choose so . Kinda hard to take a good screenshot if you can't hold on for a second.

What a great turn-out this week! Thumbs up to everybody for making such good screens. And thank you for the kind comments everybody. The mapping on this screen, I should add, is courtesy of Supindahood. What I did here is mostly graphics and palette and stuff, so the praise for the actual design goes to him this time around.

 

When will the firebird tileset be released?

While I was hoping for a 01/01/14 release, we will probably not be able to make it in time for New Year's. However, a January release (with 16x16 sprites for this first release) seems very realistic right now. We really should have made a development topic for the tileset, now that I think about it... By the way, you can be looking forward to a little event once the tileset is released, as well as a userguide (screen design guide) to introduce the new graphics and whatnot. So, stay tuned guys!

Will stay tuned, that tileset looks like the next big thing in PZC!
