The ill-fated "explorers" club's first and last adventure.
Dawnlight
It may be old, but it call still pick a fight.
Rem
I was experimenting, okay?
T. Platinum
Yeah
Nuvo
No sprites yet, but I have working water now.

Seriously, I nulled.
Pabru
I like this shot. it reminds me of the Gerudo Fortress in OoT. My only complaint would be that bush in the lower right corner.
Dawnlight
It may be old, but it can still put up a fight. Just like Cranky Kong .
Rem
Nostalgia FTW. That being said, I thought R/B/Y used reb, blue and yellow colors, respectively...or is this Green Version? *shot*
T. Platinum
epic seizure time
Nuvo
Another good shot. I like the monochromatic style...the only person that I've seen pull this off was NoEL with Squigglevision. Looking forward to the final result.
I'd probably would have gone with either Pabru or Nuvo if I hadn't entered. Great shots this week!

lol, And Yellow version actually switched palettes from town to route to town. Each town was a different color, and this was the default one (Which I think was used in like...Celidan or whatever.).

Pabru - 7/10
The design overall is average. The main problem with your shot is that there's so much brown in it that the castle and the terrain mix with each other creating a "camouflage" view of the screen.
Dawnlight - Fried Chicken/10
I entered just to get this contest goin'. Have some fried chicken.
Rem - 6/10
Ah! Link's boat shipwrecked into the Pokemon world. I like the old-school GB graphics, but the design could use some work.
T. Platnium - 3/10
You get a "C" for creativity. That's my only comment.
Nuvo - 8/10
Absolutely love that shot. Maybe some extra detail on the light grass area? Well Done!

I figured somebody would say that, but I didn't have much to work with. The tileset is so incomplete it's not funny. >_< Oh, well. It was fun to make, that's for sure.

Next time rip the truck so Link can use "Strength" to pop a Mew out of it.

Hey, thanks.
I was trying to make some fallen leaves, but those are really hard to do in monochrome... any suggestions? Or do you simply mean more of the details in the light area.

My sister has these funky 3D glasses that have a purple and green lense, and some things did pop out on me. It was interesting.
BUT thats a good idea

Pabru: A close second, an excellent design.
Dawnlight:
Rem: Trying to go for a 3D effect? Cool.
T. Platinum: Reminds me of a rave.
Nuvo: I want to see this tileset in action! Animate your next submission!

Dawnlight: Still strong
Rem: This is a color mode on the GBC?
T. Platinum: Holy **** this is awesome thinking of all the seizures it could cause
Nuvo: Two bit awesomeness: look at the old pen-and-ink illustrations for inspriation. Also add some variation in the trees.

Second place would've been Nuvo.
