if i change cset 6's colors, does it affect any tiles other than the Link tiles?

i'm using the dance of remembrance tileset.

I just checked and the Bow in the DoR set uses CSet 6. So, unless you wanna recolor a few tiles, then you might want to skip out.

ah, damn. thanks, though. i guess i have to work around the colors.

You can always just kinda move everything else out of the way though. I think Cset 5 has some nice brown colors you can use for the bow, (Though you might need to do some recoloring, but that's no big deal, particularly if you make a backup of the tile.) so try to switch the item away from using Cset 6. Just edit its item/graphic, and press Keypad minus once. Easy enough.

I think the nature of this question is more geared toward the "hardcoded" Cset 6 elements. There shouldn't really be any, if people are designing tilesets intelligently these days, which they are, thankfully, particularly the DoR or Pure sets. Yeah, go for it. Just have a backup somewhere, somehow.

This may just be an opinion, but I think it's a bad idea to put anything in cset 6, ever. At least in a public tileset, 'cause you know everybody likes to sub Links, therefor changing cset 6.

Reasoning? I don't think that the DoR Link fits the attitude of the main character. But in SoP, which also uses DoR, I'm keeping it. Not just because it fits the attitude of the character, but also because it's my favorite Link sprite.

So, Akkabus may have a similar reasoning.
