When is the Zelda Classic Database going to be back up in running? None of the quest download links work. It seems it's been for ever... Does anybody know when it's going to be back up and running? icon_rolleyes.gif

I give it another few months... It's been down A LONG time. People are getting restless so some have made their own DB's

Yeah I know doesn't it seem like forever? Last time I remember downloading a quest from there was like a year and a half ago. Can't somebody just fix that thing? icon_sorry.gif

Got HTML abilities? (I think that's what it was) if so, go for it, ask at AGN to see if they will let you

Or, if you're impatient to download a quest, just take this text
CODE
http://zeldaclassic.armageddongames.net/download.php?file=questnamehere.zip

and replace "questnamehere" with the name of the quest you want to download. I tried it, it works.

Though you may have to insert special characters for hyphens and such. icon_unsettled.gif

The QDB repair will take even longer now, since AGN's forums have gone down again. (all you get is a bunch of PHP errors)

Warlord is working hard on it. He's only one person trying to do everything. Give him some time. He posts on it once in a while on AGN.

Trucky5, could you please refrain from using shorthand. This is not an IM board.

ZC.com is the main reason this site is here, or at least was started. So, I would imagine that a lot of us care. I know I certainly do.

^ Yeah cuz I downloaded Link's Retirement 2 from AGN. icon_slycool.gif

On the address-thing, if there's a special character in the name, you're going to have to type in something for it.

For a hyphen, just type in a hyphen. For others: ( = %28 ) = %29 ' = %27 : = %3A

If those symbols appear in the name, try typing them in. It could get you those ones you couldn't get again. icon_wink.gif

What is AGN? Is that ZC's website? Sorry, I feel stupid for asking this question.

AGN is for Armageddon Games. The Zelda Classic website is under Armageddon Games.

Oh, ok. I get it. None of these techniques are working for me. I've tried many times but all I get is a lost HTML or an error. Oh well... icon_sweat.gif
