I'm going to start submitting runs if no one else will XD I'm out for the summer so I'll be doing more stuff with Zelda Classic.

My first time doing a simple speedrun of the quest is 16:43. The only time saving thing I did was skipping the key in level one. And I bought the arrows and silver arrows as quickly as possible. I died at the Gleeock going through the final dungeon and had to start over. I also died trying to kill the forest Pol's Voice. And the final boss. I used continues at several points. I'm going to run it again and hope to not die to random things.

Anybody have any ideas for marketing this quest? : P I haven't gotten a ton of feed back or play throughs.

The two switches on the over world? You use Roc's feather to jump over and then use the sword.

What was your strategy for getting the 12:16? That's a pretty good time. Also are you doing real time or in game time?
I am really really glad you played ^ - ^ What are your thoughts?

Not that I know of. I'm only requiring video for super good times at the moment. Things that are sort of unbelievable. Maybe I should start requiring video? But I feel like that significantly raises the entry level to be able to submit a time.

I get every required(?)*[1] item and leave the rest. I end with 5 or 6 hearts. Sometimes I die though since one-hit kills vs cracktorocks can be tricky.I was just doing test runs and will do a RTA vid when I get < 10 mins .He told me that 7-8 minutes is possible, so I didn't figure 15-20 minute range runs were any good... Not sure though. It doesn't seem there's any way to skip items, you need to get rupees->bombs->bow->arrows->feathers->2 keys->boomerang to finish, unless I'm missing something.Do we have any videos of this?  I more than want to create this track on speedrun.com

You definitely don't need bombs. And you can skip the sword.

I should make it way more clear but if you get to the first dungeon without a sword, you are given one. That happens in the boss room and the first room of the dungeon past the bait room.
