Its 2.55 Alpha 28 July 2019 version.

That's 50 versions and 13 months behind.

Because alpha builds are constantly expanding quest file structure to accommodate more data amounts and more data types, older versions that try to read amounts and types of data that they're not made to handle don't know what to do with it, and will simply stop functioning.

Get alpha 78 from here: https://www.zeldacla....com/downloads/

Yeah. You should just need to update. I made it in Alpha 74. But 78 should work too.

Thanks, I can't believe I didn't notice that first item in the trading sequence as it isn't that hard to see.

It's okay. I was honestly worried about where I put it cause I thought it might be hard to see. So I made it poke out a little bit.

Is the last boss of level 8.5 supposed to be ridiculously impossibly difficult?  Or am I doing something wrong?  There's so many projectiles on screen I die within fifteen seconds, or use both potions before the enemy is even down a quarter of their health bar.

I have enjoyed this quest so far, it makes me want to revisit the original to see the differences.

Edit: managed it eventually but I never did figure out:

Hello, the quest was very fun as a whole. I think I have a problem trying to save a child in the underground of a house. The child is invisible and the soldier that should be here isn't. I am in 2.55 alpha 85. Is it a bug?

I'm having that problem as well. Can't see the soldier or the child. I'm guessing this is necessary to move on to Level 4 and finding the feather.

Recently I've finished this quest and enjoyed very much.

The designs are beautiful, and difficulty and playability are well balanced.

It's recommended especially for zelda-beginners.

I really thank the author for making this quest!

By the way I found 35 HCPs and seem to have missed one.

The numbers and places of HCPs that I found are below:

4 in Ceol Forest
5 in Karyda Shores
4 in Tobar Town
3 in Sookha Badlands
5 in Lake Palapa
4 in Gadi Thicket
1 in Kuniana Peak
5 in Subida Bluffs
2 in Shabh Graves
2 in Port Marondo

If anyone know where to seek the last one, please me give a clue or advice!

And Avrysatos, if you still keep a mushroom,
you should go to the dungeon named Cream Lodge where you can see someone.

So, I've been working on LPing this to see how it is in retrospect. I have a few things I want to polish up a bit, so I'd like to do an update in the future. A few things more critical than others.

The battle was a test of patience basically. Granted, playing through it again, maybe a little too much was going on. It took me a few tries to beat him, mostly cause I accidentally chugged one of my potion uses.

I may rework this battle.

I actually had this issue myself. It doesn't stop you from beating the quest, but I'll have to be looking at the file later on.

I am not certain. I am missing one HCP as well in my playthrough. And instead of making a Heart Piece guide, my ass forgot to do that.

Interesting.

I made this for a contest, and your original quest really stuck out to me. If you want to give it a shot, you may, but I do want to do an update soon to make a couple retrospective improvements.

If you do, update to the newest version. I fixed some late game stuff, though it hasn't fixed all the late game stuff I want to fix yet.

Your overworld item in the graveyard was the Lens of Truth. Check you spacebar map to see a screen that you oddly haven't reached yet. Use the Lens to figure out how to get there.
