Does Scrolling Warps mess with "Continue Here"?

I have a dungeon map that transitions between two dmaps often as you transition from an outside dmap to an inside dmap. However, despite the level number being set correctly for all dmaps, and the "Continue Here" is set for the dmap I want it to continue on, the game just seems to continue all over the place, as if it's setting the new continue screens at the scrolling warps.

 

If this is what's happening, why is this even a thing? Why does scrolling warps take priority here?

There's a Quest Rule under Combos- Scrolling Warps Don't Set Continue Point.

Unless that is checked, they will.

However, this doesn't affect tile warps.

When you tile warp, it seems that the continue point is always set to whatever DMap you end up on, even if the Continue Here flag isn't set. I don't know why this is or how to prevent it.

I think it's only entrance/ exit tile warps that set the continue point, but I may be wrong.

All I know is that I never use them and I had it doing it to me all the time when making Passage Through Time and the Metroid quests.

Do you have the no continue here after warp screen flag unchecked?
