Here's some quick, late feedback:

Avaro: An attractive screen that I'd really like to see in motion. I'm not a big fan of the classic set, but you use it well.

HeroOfFire: At first glance, I didn't think much of this shot. The palette is maybe a bit muddy. But then I looked longer and found myself able to picture this area clearly in my mind, which made me appreciate it much more. I like how open the scene is. I think the flowing pipe establishes sort of a dank atmosphere.

Jared: Lovely palette and graphics. I think the amount of detail is about right, with the sand in the air contributing an appropriate graininess.

Joelmacool: It's pretty enough. I think there's lots of potential for the GB-style cliffs like those. They resolve a lot of the ambiguity in the original graphics, IMO.

Shane: I love that you've managed to make a forest area somewhat confusing (like a good forest) without taking up too much of the screen's real estate. The color scheme is really easy to parse, and there's no mistaking what one can or cannot walk over.

This might be the hardest selection I've ever had to make in this contest, but I will vote for Shane.
