Bad idea: Limiting what you know.

 

Good idea: Amusing others by telling jokes.

Bad idea: Explaining the joke immediately afterwards, despite the fact that everyone clearly got it.

(see, this is funny because it's a situation that happens sometimes, and it's always awkward.)

 

Good Idea: Hanging out with pals (in a safe manner, ofc)

Bad Idea: Blasting your music so loud that the entire block can hear it.

 

Good Idea:  Making an anonymous donation to a good cause.

Bad Idea: Loudly declaring you made a donation to a good cause without actually doing it.

 

Good Idea: Condemning bad things but not being sanctimonious about it.

Bad Idea: Condemning everybody you don't like as a bad person and slandering them in an attempt to silence or ban them.

 

Good Idea: Not asking for an apology when somebody wrongs you, with the intent of such a person coming to their own realization, and thus making such an apology sincere and well thought out.
