Scour the land for 2 heart pieces, converse with a skeleton, find out exactly why Link would want a ladder, deal with a pair of dragons, quest for a wooden stick with which to defend yourself. Introduce the dragons to the business end of your premium wooden blade.

100% of the opening tutorial overworld is available to explore.
1 NPC w/ dialogue options.
Cave system is currently in a preliminary state. don't expect puzzles and chasms and intricate layering yet and complex multi-dmap layouts quite yet. At this stage they are just some corridors used to facilitate overworld map flow: next release will have a more fleshed-out production.

Quick revision release.

-NW corner of the map is filled out.
-2nd NPC screen made, animations soon to come
-Fixed the background transparency colors for text boxes to a color that makes the white font actually readable.

---next revision---

Preliminary work on a custom boss for the end of the introduction quest has started. Getting learnt about FFCs. I've drawn most of the reference tiles for the boss, and will be starting on the tedious task of animating them this coming weekend.

Cave system has been mapped out on paper. Ready to be implemented in ZQ.

-Those 2 Aquamentus (Aquamenti?) Are lonely; overworld/cave enemies to make your life more interesting.

---demo goals---

-contextual animations for the npc dialogue scenes.

-More in-depth dialogue trees. The version as it exists now is still in a proof-of-concept stage: It's there, it works; but it needs to be fleshed out. Current strings are just rough draft placeholders and will be completely rewritten for the demo. Plan on adding subtopics that branch from within each main topic.

-Adding some more polish to the overworld. While I am satisfied with the overall design so far, I would like to start adding in some more detail. Working on some more ambient stuff like fog, waterfall spray, animations for the trees rustling in the wind.
