My apologies if this counts as a double post, but I wanted to separate the previous post from this one, as I think I came across a bug.  For some reason, in level 8.5, I cannot use the raft doc, nor swim across the water in the area to the left of the main entrance (magic trial).

 

Has anyone else experienced this?

That's intentional. You are supposed to have a new level 2 raft, which you have to find in Kuniana Peak. I believe the NPC outside level 8.5, underground mentions this, it may also be hinted at in the flavor text for one of the areas.

 

I wanted to enable the raft just for that screen, but wasn't sure how to do it. Granted, that would be something I'd like to improve on in the future so it would be less confusing. I could have used a different DMap, but that presented its own odditiies.

Nice,  I'll go back and look around for it some more.  I honestly do not remember that NPC saying that..

 

Edit:  Whelp, insert the proverbial head slap here.  I did find it, but did not even notice the item covers up and takes over the spot for the raft when I found it.

Yeah. Honestly, it probably would be better to give them each their own slot.

Really dumb question.  How do I save game? My usual F6 has no effect. Using ZC 2.55 v.99

Yep, can't save my game either, also on alpha 99.

With F6 the message says:

" End current game? The continue screen is disabled. You will be returned to the file select screen."

I am able to save other quests.

Using ZC 2.55 version 99.

Telepot, I have tried numerous fixes and nothing has allowed F6 saves. Let me know if you get anywhere, please.

Hey guys, I learned from Bagu that I need to add a script to a screen to fix the error. I missed it when doing the title screen. I'll upload it when I have a chance. I am doing like 55 hour work weeks right now.

Well, it's not an error
...the F6Menu is skipped in the Start sequence....
but not restored, after the End of the intro.

Restoring it will not be an effort

I just got home. Got the F6 screen working. Gotta edit the text colors and then I can upload. Going to eat first though. I'll get it up soon. Use Bagu's file for now.
