The PureZC Events forum is back as "Other Events"! Any future contests or events (that are irregular in schedule) will be run in here.

 

An official PureZC event schedule will also be posted in here shortly; it will contain a rough timeline of quest contests and other events for the rest of 2025.

 

And if you have any suggestions for contests as well, feel free to pitch them in here or in the event dropbox channel on the PureZC Discord server.

This splitting of the forums was done with overwhelming favour, and now it is changed back without any discussion with the community?

There's not even a proper reason in this post.

 

In my opinion it will hurt the forums and event participation. SotW started getting that popular again that it could be hosted weekly instead of "bi-weekly" (sometimes every 3 weeks or every month). Not saying that this is the sole factor in accomplishing that, but it surely was helpful.

Also now Quest Club is getting started again, this will really obscure either those posts or the SotW posts.

 

 

So it would be nice to at least understand the reasons to change it, let alone discuss it with the community first.

Following discussion with yourself and other moderators, I've arbitrarily gone ahead and put Quest Club and Screenshot of the Week back on the main forum. This forum has also been renamed to "Other Events"; rather than have everything cascade under the one sub-forum, I believe this will be the more appropriate way to push ahead with irregular events and contests.
