I love Zelda Classic and have enjoyed Randomizer Alpha(still haven't found all of the Level 2 dungeons, and Minus Level 6 caused the game to crash on one screen) and I wanted to start joining the community as a quest creator so I decided to make a quest expanding on The Comprehensive ZQ 2.50 Tutorial, adding in a full nine dungeons and all that... but something's wrong with my created quests: Whenever I create Level 2, all of the locked doors are magically unlocked when I playtest it. I used Pure Koten 1.11 for the tileset and have no problems making a Level 1 dungeon with locked doors, but any other dungeon I create where I put locked doors has it so when I enter the dungeon, the locked doors are unlocked.

I don't know what I am doing wrong. I have put locked doors on both rooms where the door leads to. If it was a shutter, I would understand; the code doesn't allow you to have shutters in a room without enemies, the door always opens when you enter that type of room. However, this is a LOCKED door, one which requires a key... only my dungeons don't need keys because the doors never show up as locked, but as open. If someone could send me a reply telling me what I am doing wrong, I could try to fix this.

At this rate, I may just have to use only open doors and doors with shutters and filled to the brim with enemies so they stay shut. :(

Sounds like it could be the wrong DMap type. DMaps are what give certain contexts to your maps like level palettes, music, and certain level specific rules. Select Quest->DMaps and see what Type your dungeon is set to in the mechanics tab. It should be NES Dungeon in order for NES dungeon features like doors and bomb walls to work.
