Edit: Anyways I gotta question: What's the requirement for this item? Is it 12 hearts? Seems misleading

The blue blocks are the ones you need to get somewhere. Since you have two of them it should be somewhat logical where they go.

It needs X amount of hearts to be picked up. IIRC it's 6 or 7.

I watched Eppy's stream last night and noticed that the spawn points outside are all messed up. If you're gonna make a spawn point for a quest that's really close to Zelda 1 why can't you just keep it at the origin? That is to say the screen where you begin the quest and get your first weapon.

Yeah when I entered level 8, it starts me at level 8 from outside (automatically walking in). I think it should either be at the beginning of the quest or the beginning of the area, your call @Lunaria. I like to explore the OW before doing any dungeon stuff if you're wonding.

 

Edit: dungeon continue points should stay as is, not telling you what to do just giving my thoughts

I believe it is 5 rooms up from the start u need to go to the 6th room up an walk down or bomb down

Because that was a heart piece, not a boss key. I still need the boss key to open the boss chest and door, and a normal key to open a normal-locked chest.

You can buy keys for 150 (don't quote me on this) rupees somewhere, I think it was near where level 8 was in first. I beat that level, but I didn't find level 2.

Edit: I'm not sure if keys are level specific though

Because that was a heart piece, not a boss key. I still need the boss key to open the boss chest and door, and a normal key to open a normal-locked chest.

Sorry it was just from memory and obviously my memory is not so good. I tried  buying keys but they did not work in the dungeon

P.S.  had to draw a map and make sure I had been in every room and killed every enemy to finish this one

You have unlimited bombs, bomb every wall and try walking thru every wall even if you think they are off the map

The locked chest holds the boss key, you're just missing a key elsewhere in the dungeon. The PoH in level 1-8 is in general more hidden/hard than the required stuff.

That'd not work. Keys on the overworld are for overworld keyholes.

I've moved on (back) to LVL2 for now. How do I get to the boss key? I see a set of stairs in the room leading to it, but can't reach them.
