Id like to go and check the file myself, but as of this week I'll be out of town, so I suppose the best course of action to do for now is put a link in this topic when it's fixed and I'll upload the new file on the site when I'm back.

That being said, anyone who doesn't have this sfx issue, can you guys report what build you guys are playing it in or how you fixed it?

I don't remember the faint sound effects either.

Try enabling midi patch in ag.cfg.

Opens in any text editor. Change 0 to 1.

Maybe it's something new.

No I haven't, but I got a lot of stuff to do.

edit: ill check for those faint sfx though

edit2: I use ZConsole to find errors, but doesn't tell me how to fix them

edit3: allegro.log usually prints ZC errors and script errors (barely) as well

I hear it, I think it's part of the sound effect. Relative to the oracles.

I don't think it's an error.

Just out curiosity Moosh and SB, is this every sound effect that's causing this popping noise?

It's definitely not every sfx, I just noticed it with "drops" like rupees, hearts, etc.

It sounds like mixture of z1 and oracle for some of them, it could just be me. But doesn't sound like an error.

Yeah, that sounds more like a quality issue and not a bug. I guess the sfx will just need to be replaced with better ones, since some of the gb sfx are sort of crunchy sounding

It's at the end of almost every non ZC default sound for me. Plays in both ZC and ZQuest. When I import over it it goes away in ZQuest but not in ZC and when I reload the quest in ZQuest it's back.

ZC bug probably you guys should post this on AGN, My sounds are external from testing.

I don't know the exact situation so I wouldn't know what to say.

if the sfx sound is as soft as you guys make it out to be, I'd say just go on ahead and I'll look at the issue when I get back home. Just to make sure I made the right upload, the quest file had the new boss for the secret dungeon in, right? That was the last change I remember making.

I'm in the Desert of Quierre. Looking for the hammer. Also trying to find the maze path.

hammer is in level 5, which is beyond the maze path. You'll find the hint for the maze path on Sunset Island.
