Poll: Lens of Truth vs Troll Hazards

Is it viable to have troll hazards as long as Link can bust them with Lens of Truth?

Title says almost all. Is it needed to warn beforehand to always check out your step with Lens, or it`s already worst ideal at all?

I prefer to have a lens marker in the room when the lens is expected, though if a dungeon is consistent enough in its trickery it can be considered a "lens always on" dungeon I suppose. Something to keep in mind is that having the lens up at all times due to building that kind of distrust can hinder gameplay due to the limited visibility. Which is why I think hinting at the lens on a screen by screen basis is usually the best approach. Can also get a little crafty in your lens markers to create extra layers of trolling.

Today I scripted the Lens handling...
...instead of constant pressing B (or A) for lens effects, you just have to press it once to activate, and again to deactivate.

This is more comfortable when jumping from one (invisibible wo. lens) moving platform to another (in "Can Select A Button" quests (to use lens and feather at the same time), or in quests with a dedicated jump button)

Might be worthwhile to automate this by giving the Lens a Stone of Agony- or Z4 Compass-type effect on the screens with secret data...or by just using the Stone of Agony as a separate item to "enhance" the Lens by indicating when it might be useful.

Why isn't this in the engine by default? Pls share.

edit: To answer the question, occasional troll hazards are fun/funny. But if they're a recurring mechanic, then I'd say it's important to give some kind of indicator, preferably one that's easy to miss at first but obvious once you know what it is.

I already posted a Feature Request, on the Discord Development Server.
So, I hope it might be available in an upcomming build
