Hello everybody, here I am again asking for more music suggestions. I would like suggestions for the music for world 5. World 5 is Color Change World. Level 5 is Prismatic Labyrinth.

In video games, enemies who are a different color are always stronger. This world is made to make fun of that aspect of gaming.

Anybody have any ideas for music that would fit this theme?

The YMCA music.  :tard:

Ok so here is the deal with Level 5. Level 5 pokes fun at old school games. In old school games, especially RPGs, they would often change the color for an enemy and gave it different properties. For example, you get an red imp sprite for the basic imps. The blue imp sprites looked exactly the same except for their color, but they where stronger. Even in Zelda Classic, there are colors to label enemies. Just look at red and blue wizzrobes: same sprite, different color, different properties.

So my level 5 is heavily themed with this color aspect. It is so much so that there are 8 colors in total for my dungeon.

What I would like to do is find 8 versions of the same midi or mp3 song that would fit this theme. A version for each color.

Any ideas?

For that, you'd probably need to hire someone. I mean on PureZC, or some other forum. Not necessarily for money (though if you want to pay, go ahead). I can't think of any specific theme you should use, though.

No worries, I'll figure something out. I just like hearing suggestions from others.

... It would have to be a popular tune in order to have that many renditions of it.  Something that has been remixed by a few separate people.

I remember seeing in the midi archives for Ocarina of Time that some songs had 3-4 versions of the same song.  I think I might've seen more than that for another game...  One of the Final Fantasy games, perhaps...  If it's an "old school" feeling you want, you could try music from some NES games like Super Mario Bros or Megaman; they would probably have some remixes along with 8-bit-sounding versions of the songs.

As a matter of fact, just now I did a Google search for "Ocarina of Time midi" and the first one that came up, ZeldaCapital.com, had 9 different versions of the Gerudo Valley theme and 9 versions of the Lost Woods theme.  (However, I haven't taken the time to listen to them all to make sure they're all different.)  Either you could try one of those or check midi archives for other games to see what other tunes are popular.

I'm am pretty much finished with Level 6, but I need to find music. I simply don't know what kind of music would fit a level looking like this. There are three floors to this dungeon. While I have made some changes, this is what the first floor looks like in this level. The gimmick is truth and lies. Any ideas as to what song would fit this setting?

Hello again!

It has been a long time since I last asked for people's opinions on music. I'm currently working on the final level to my quest! This is where your help would be most beneficial.

What kind of music would best fit the final level for "Mike's Fun House"? It should be something that represents video games as a whole, it should let the players know that this is the final level, and it should be a song that someone could listen to for a couple of hours. Any suggestions?
