I've started planning levels with grid maps. So far, I have levels 1-3 planned out. And I have a couple things to mentioned.

1. Every dungeon has hidden rooms and bombable walls.

2. Bombable walls are hinted at. One hint that I am adding is that items will fall in front of walls that can be bombed.

3. Each dungeon has a fairy fountain and shop.

4. If you do dungeons out of order you can be rewarded by having more shortcut opportunities and rupees from earlier levels.

5. All dungeons have between 30-45 screens. Except level 9.

6. Some dungeons connect shortcuts to the overworld.


After planning levels 4-8, I'll start building dungeons.
