hello everyone. I would like to ask a script request for a puzzle that i planning to use for my current quest.

I explain: I was recently started to think about some new puzzle that i would add in my quests and i had find a original one: The Color Block and Switch puzzle.

Here's a screenshot i made for giving you an idea.

The blocks directions will depends of the crystal switch. If the switch is red the block will move to the right, green to the left, blue to the top, and purple to down.

Blue switchs will move the blue blocks 1 time, Red switchs will move the red blocks 3 times, and the green switch will move the green blocks 2 times. Purple switch will simply reset the puzzle but i don't need a function for the reset puzzle since i'll just uses the warp function.

It's similar to the ice block puzzle except that if the blocks hit a solid combo (or a flag that pervent a block to go there) or when the block reach the limit of the movement times the corresponded color blocks will stops no matter what. If the color blocks hit a enemy it would hurt them or simply kill them. ^^'

As you can see i did already setup the combos for this one and the argument would determine the combos used for the crystal switch directions for exemple. For the colored blocks i will simply put a ffc that had a script attached on it. If a block is on a switch the player still can remove the block from the switch allowing the player to solve the puzzle and making the puzzle realisable and not impossible. I can assure you that i wasn't inspired from any game or zelda quest. I did had that idea on my mind recently.

Anyway i hope that puzzle of that kind would be possible to make ^^'

well if the switch is not red well that could cause a problem with the puzzle messing up the color blocks puzzles. i planning to making switchs for specific combos for specific color blocks.

So, strike the switch and the blocks move in the corresponding direction by one space?

I'd advise using switches with arrows in them, as colourblind users will have a lot of issues with this puzzle otherwise.

You means like this for example ?

Because i think that would be the best setting i could figures. I did forget the buttons combos as well so it's fixed. As for the four switchs the first one would be for the blue switch, the second the green switch, the 3th switch for the red switch, and the four one well... nothing special it woud be a reset button.

Sort of... I'd make a crystal globe with a flashing arrow.

i had a idea for making the puzzle more challanging: what if a ffc script for the 'color switch' would be creates too with that ? At certain puzzle Link simply have to move the color blocks in any switchs possibles and at other puzzles Link would need to move the color block at the correct color switch that would corresponding at the color blocks. That would be too easy if the player just have to move the color block in any switchs possibles.
