I have watched Wheel of Fortune a few times before, but none recently. If I were playing and I was the first up on a puzzle, my most likely first two moves would be to spin for a T, and then spin for an N, since those are the two most commonly occurring consonants. In some cases, I might spin for an H second, if I think I am discovering the definite article. I'd probably spin about three times before buying a vowel, assuming I make it that far on my turn.
