This there a way to make a room's enemies not return when quest rule "Enemies Always Return" is checked? Without the enemy having "Never Returns After Death" checked? It would be nice if this was possible. Alternate way would be to check "Enemies Always Return" in every screen's Screen Data.

I don't think there is a way to do what you want to do. Sorry.

I kinda thought so. I was wondering if when both "Enemy Always Returns" were checked it would cancel out. Darn.

Well, you can go to the enemy setting and click on "Never returns after Death."

If I recall correctly:

Screen > *Possibly screen Data, I haven't used 2.50 enough to remember* > Enemy Flags > Boss Room

Boss Room makes it to where enemies never come back on that screen, and cancels the Enemies always Return rule, if I recall correctly.

That's true, but you can only have one boss room per level. If you have more, then once one boss has been defeated, the others won't appear.

Anyway, unless you're making a non-Zeldalike quest that absolutely needs it, having the global "enemies always return" rule turned on is generally a pain for the player.
