In the latest 2.5 build, is it possible to rip tiles directly into 8-bit mode?
-also-
Is there a way to make an item spawn when a secret is triggered?
Couple questions

I don't recall there being a way for an item to be spawned when a secret is triggered, per se.
A nice trick in 2.5 is to make a chest-type object, and give it an Armos -> item inherent flag. Then, make the secret item what you need, and it should work for you.

Ok, I didn't think there was a secret->item function (I remember wondering about this a long time ago, couldn't remember if i had asked or not). But that should be easy to script. I'll get to it... sometime....
As for ripping into 8bit mode... Apparently you can, if you use the leech function, and set it to '8 color' instead of '4 color'. It seems that, while recoloring, I'm going to have to trim down my rip images a bit as well... It'd be nice if normal ripping could be done this way, maybe a kindly dev might consider adding in such functionality
