Thanks . One of the things I was working on, but still want to push a bit further. Tex Avery is the king of cartoon expressionims. I've already mastered my color usage and stuff, I just want to further delve into slapstick

Been practicing making 3D stuff with LttP's perspective. This was a random thing I started doing, more or less as practice, since I haven't made a Zelda style model in a while. It turned out alright, but it is clearly rushed, and not exactly perfect. But, you can see the concept here.
Sorry it doesn't fill the whole frame, oops. Had to speed up this recording in kind of a jank way, as this is 8x speed. The original video is about 21 minutes.

It'll be interesting to see what happens when you put texturing on the base like that C:. Good pixel art grass and such. Something about the great 2D pixel art combined with 3D world rendering is captivating to me, like Final Fantasy Tactics.

This isn't anything to brag about, but I drew a map off of the top of my head. It's an island with six different areas. Maybe it could be a hub world in some dreamy 3D platformer or something. I was inspired by the maps in Mario Odyssey. It's just a quick sketch, but I think it shows elevation decently well.
