First off I'm sorry if this is in the wrong thread.

OK now onto business, I've started making a Harvest Moon SNES tileset and I was wondering if anyone would use it. I've already ripped alot of the tiles and now I'm starting the long process of comboing them, but I was wondering if anyone would want this tileset to be finished.

Thoughts, comments, sugestions?

First off, no, I don't think you should. It's been attempted before, I think, and I personally don't think it's a good tileset for building quests with

I would use it just for the different towns people.

... I think it could be done, but how true to HM would it be? If you make triforce set as the love meter...

I would just rip all the tils and all the sprites and the main character "Jack."

If you like a game enough to make a tileset of it, even if you can't make a quest with said tileset, go for it!

As I said, if you like the game that much, do it. The only real reason I'm making a TotR tileset is so I can play through it again... And to have some beautiful graphics at my disposal...

Basically the only reason I thought of making this tileset is because the tiles are beautiful. I have started to work on this quite a bit now.

Just rip a few useful stuff like rocks, bushes, etc. Making a whole set base of HM is just a waste of time IMO.

Who would actually think that, Limzo? That is a silly question. I think that Harvest Moon doesn't really have much useful things, and ripping a few useful things would be better.

Hmmm what happened to my page, the text got really big somehow....
I currently don't remember the password, I should have it written down somewhere though. I also should have an unpassworded version somewhere that has more tiles. Most of them weren't set up though, and the combos are a mess in the quest, I had planned on redoing a bunch of it someday. It was made before layers where in ZC, so lots of things aren't set up as good as they could be now.

Valerie I only have one question for you...HOW DOD YOU RIP THOSE TILES SO F***ING NICLY???

I'm trying to use ROMview and all the tiles come out pretty crappy.
