Part 16

I don't know why I put that extra jumping spot at the beginning of the dungeon.

At least that switch by the other gap creates the convenient short cut.

The mini-boss is based on tiles from FF XII: Revenant Wings and is called Atlas.

The boss is in the database with the same descrption and sprites.

You're right about that one Skulltula being on the same time period as the trading spot.

It becomes available after completing that trade and returning.

Speaking of which, taking notes or screenshots of the various locations you're suppose to go is definitely advised.

There's a Nayru encounter you've already had that you might want to return to, outside level 8.

Part 17

Hunting down all those trading spots must have been a lot of work.

Also, I guess I wasn't quite clever enough hiding that one Gold Skulltula on the same spot as a trading encounter.

I've added a time of day warp near where you enter the region around Turtle Rock for convenience.

Did you know? The minecart is actually a raft in disguise.

The script was very tedious to setup but works marvelously.

The Wind Robes in level 13 vanish forever once defeated, so feel free to wipe them out.

There are two mini-bosses in the level as well.

This seemed fitting considering the scope of the 3 floor dungeon.

Turtle Rock is a very easy place to get lost in with lots of branching paths.

It shouldn't be possible to take the wrong one and misplace a key, but stranger things have happened.

Part 18

Good job navigating the twists and turns of Turtle Rock!

I'm glad you figured out the shortcut back to the Darknut.

I recently added a hint there so players would know what to do.

I also included a hint to the existence of the script that drops more ammo if you run out.

That room, along with a few others in the quest; is designed to make it harder to fail.

The mini-boss is based on a script from Balance of Nature and is in the database.

It isn't one of my best and needs a serious upgrade.

The boss is named after a character from one of my favorite movies growing up.

Bonus points if you know which one!

I'm not sure if I want to leave the whistle warp point atop Turtle Rock accessible only from inside or create a shortcut out.

Either way, a second one nearby.

The shop originally required a Super Bomb to open but now simply requires reaching the room with the guard after the boss.

Part 19

That shortcut outside level 14 was repeatedly requested by players.

Having it makes getting around the area much easier as well as going back for stuff you missed.

The idea for the dungeon was based a lot upon the Twilight Princess ice dungeon.

The mini-bosses you faced were Spinnut by Lejes and Cold Thwomp by me.

Both this dungeon and Turtle Rock had 3 boss chests.

And they both had 2 items and 1 Heart Piece.

Lighting all of the furnaces is indeed required to finish the area.

Some remove snow that blocks your path.

But for the most part, you just have to figure out how to navigate to get them all.

Part 20

I agree that the whole "light the furnaces" quest is confusing.

Even getting it to work was hard for me then.

Much less telling the player it had been accomplished.

So, Blizzeta was buggy.

Why? A simple typo in the script

The four giant snakes were supposed to be giant chunks of ice.

Each had to be destroyed to weaken the body.

Getting very close to obtaining all of the Skulltulas.

I'm pretty sure there's at least one in the area around level 14 at a different time of day.

There's some other rewards to be found there too.

Soon enough, only the Temple of Time will remain...

Part 21

In case you haven't guessed, the Sword of TIme is completely overpowered.

Nice job collecting it! That completes the 1st of 4 requirements for the secret ending.

What can I say about the Temple of Time?

It is vast, complex, intertwined and guaranteed to get the player lost.

At the time I made it, I didn't think to create shortcuts at various points.

I might be able to add a few now that I know better.

Also, every boss in the game makes a return in this area.

Some mini-bosses too, as you saw with Nessie.

The remaining 3 sidequest items are obtained by doing the following:

Defeat all Golden Beasts and speak to an npc in Hyrule Castle.

Finish the trading sequence.

Talk to an npc in the town near level 8.

Part 22

The missed Nayru encounter was caused by a simple check whereby the 2nd part isn't seen unless you have a specific item.

In this case, that was the Hammer; making it one of the most easily missed of them.

Also, the room in Hyrule Castle requires finding all the Nayru encounters and trading spots to trigger.

Congratulations on completing the trading sequence!

Doing so nets items 2 and 3 that are required for the secret ending.

These are the Knight's Crest and Peril Ring.

The Knight's Crest makes all of your sword/hammer/wand attacks do critical damage every time.

The Peril Ring increases defense whenever your HP is low.

Navigating the Temple of Time is a tricky business at best.

Thankfully, the map shows all the changes that are made.

This even works with remotely triggered secrets, allowing you to detect where to go if a path opens at a different time of day.

That room with the fairy statue and a few of the boss refights was added due to a bug.

For some reason, the screen state carryovers on another screen weren't working properly.

So, a few more rooms and rematches were added to the dungeon.

Speaking of rematches, I'm pretty sure I know why Blizzeta got stuck in a wall.

Hopefully, I have fixed that so players won't encounter that in the future.

Part 23

I'm planning to add a few more hints for the final bosses of the Temple of Time in the near future.

Also, it's theoretically possible in the current version to reach the final area without any of the gems.

Each of the 4 bosses I tried to make unique and fit their time of day.

Aurora is angelic and the name is associated with the mythical goddess of Dawn.

Daygleam is the angry sun from Mario Bros. 3

Twigleam is a skeletal monster shrouded in darkness.

And the Grim Reaper is death itself.

Each has a different weakness and occasionally blocks all attacks.

In order, they are weak to Sword; Super Bombs; Wand to lower defense, then Sword; and no defenses.

The final shop was added by request of testers who wanted to be able to fill the inventory and restock the Revival Potion if needed.

Vaati is ready. Are you?

Part 24: Final

The ending to a truly epic adventure.

So, if you were wondering what was different about the two endings, here's a summary.

First, you only face the first 3 forms of Vaati.

Second, the scenes involving the sidequests don't play out.

Instead you warp directly to Labrynna.

The rooftop phase was all my doing,

Vulnerabilities are as follows:

Dawn- Arrows

Day- Hammer

Twilight- Boomerang

Night- Wand

The final phase was created by Dimentio.

I've fixed the bugs that happened during the ending now, though there wasn't anything to see in Labrynna, really.

As for the sequel...

Soon, the Destiny of the Oracles will be revealed...

I love this game (I am watching the melee wizard playthrough one video at a time).  Can you tell me the music choices you selected in the game?  I could listen to the music for hours.
