Need help finding the Level 4 boss key. I believe I need to get past the 3 blocks going to the right in the upper right of the dungeon.  The room requires the hookshot to travel between the statues and press the block behind the top right statue. I did this but still can't move the blocks. I have the bracelet and harp. What do I need to move the blocks and get to the transport area in the next room? Or am I not in the right area . . . Thanks!!

If we're thinking of the same room:

you need to push one of the statues on the left side of the room in order to lower the barrier that guards the chest with the boss key. I can't remember if this applies to the boss key room, and can't easily check due to lack of spacebar map, but you also probably noticed that some rooms in level 4 have step-sensitive tiles that activate barriers.

My week for mental blocks. . . now can't get a key in Level 5. Believe it is located on Level 2F lower left room with water in the center, a waterfall at the top and 2 statues on either side of the water. Seems one of the statues needs to move so I can push a block and get the chest to appear with a key. Tried my weapons and the harp but nothing. Tried jumping and shooting an arrow into the waterfall but can't seem to do that.  Any help ??

If it's the room I'm thinking of, those are marked as 4-way push blocks. You can push them around the statues.

If they don't move at all, though, you might be missing a dungeon item.

Yes, that was the problem. I found a key and retrieved the item. I then found another key and cannot find where to use it. Retraced back to all the rooms on the map and cannot find where to use a key. Any ideas would be useful. Thanks!!

Have you found the boss key yet? It's not too far from where you found the item. That room will give you a hint as to what to do next.

Assuming you're in Level 5:

The room in which you find the boss key has a weird pattern on the floor. Like in Level 2, this is a map of the dungeon. Two of the tiles have a different color than the others--the blue one is your current location. What could the red one indicate?

Well I'm not 100% sure which small key you're missing, but:

All the small keys are before the boss, and the big key is afterwards.

Remember that the gimmick is a mirror dungeon, so if there's a statue maze on one side, it'll be on the other side as well, even if it's invisible. That also includes any strange floor tiles...

Make sure to check the hint cave near where you get the sword which always says where to go next. If that's not enough though:
