After your long journey, you finally make it to the tower, and that's when you realise your journey is very far from over

gee whiz how do the arches stay up without keystones

The tales speak of a village located deep within the heart of the border woods. Many find their way here but it has always been lost. Many people seek out the village but have never found it. It is said that those ensnared in the grueling maze of trees and roots within the woods find themselves home here. It is also said that those without soul who wander into the woods never to be seen again.

Geoffrey's screen is great, that's where my vote went. I like the way the classic tileset is being enhanced nowadays (also in Orithan's).

I am once again inspired to work on Cambria because of how gorgeous Geoffrey's shot is.

Holy balls, 25 votes! Thanks for the comments.

I actually like Orithan's screen better than mine, though. I really want to explore it! I actually quite like the choice to use dithering instead of transparency, since it fits the Classic esthetic better. My only piece of advice would be about the DMap name, which feels redundant to me: burg and village are more or less equivalent terms; burg(h) and bury (Edinburgh, Canterbury) are to borough as ville (Louisville) is to village. Basically, borough and friends are Germanic and village et alia Romance, but their meanings are very similar.
