So you're limiting the tileset, that makes no sense. To update a tileset from an outdated version to a new and improved version means not only adding more content but expanding options. What makes DoR what it is is it's palette, and the tiles but mostly the palette. You can tell a DoR screen from a Pure screen because of that, even if you have some DoR trees in your Pure screen.

Do people a favor and add as much content as possible so that others won't have to because you cut down on it.

my reasoning is this: there's simply too many tiles to add. what i want to do is keep the DoR compatibility and the PTUX style so that people can use the two sets (pretty much) interchangeably and add stuff they find in the database quickly and easily. there's a lot of great DoR-compatible tiles out there that, quite frankly, have no place in the set.

p.s. i want to add your trees, but they're so hard to edit for 192b183. >.<

They're not so much essential... The pure already has 3 of those trees in improved version, and the right tree is just too much detailed for pure...

Then I'd suggest you not use either that tree or the set. icon_razz.gif
Give people the choice to either use the trees or not, don't just disable the option of not having new content.

You know, I have to think...
Was this project finished, given up on?

All tilesets in-the-works are looked at as if the maker is running with the tourch towards the finish line and we're all cheering him/her to finish. So tell us if you're going to give up so we know to stop rooting.

As soon as it hits the database, it will be my second favorite database tileset of all time! You have done a wonderful job!

Hmm... I'm not able to use the no_pink palette? Maybe include the quest file with no pink instead of a palette file?

@ lucas92:

it works in 192b183. open up pure_remembrance.qst and then import the no_pink palette pack into the set. it will overwrite the pink colors for level palettes. sprites stay pink.
