People with stars = staff. Staff are used to making long posts because it's frequent that they do it when talking to each other.
And I agree with your last statement. Never thought of the argument about submitting a better pic if you don't like someone consistently winning.

You could type that much too. I can do it, and so could you. It's pretty easy actually. You just have to continuously explain the same concept in your post. Like this. See, my post has become longer because of me babbling about it.
