Too bland. Nothing that really catches the eye. Plus, the colors of the trees are different, but they are the same type. Add variation.

Being harsh doesn't mean not explaining fully what you don't like. Like what do you mean about "Bad tiles" for Ielen's shot? You didn't explain.

If you wanted to say bad tiles, then why didn't you post it during the SOTW26 competition?
You don't know how much time I spent doing that screenshot & you call it bad tiles?

If you take a closer look, it's raining & rain always makes the background miserable-looking.
No one complained about that when it was submitted during SOTW26.
If you want to give a proper critique, at least give more details in your explanation.


SOTM always attract everyone's attention & you'll tend to see people voting for something which they haven't seen before, so Link3505 is different from the Pure Tileset & thus people prefer it more.
It's just a change of orientation towards something that doesn't follow the norm.

Anyway, SOTM should be judged based on which picture you like, if you wish to comment on the tilework or palette, then you should have criticised it during the weekly competiton. The monthly competition should just be a comparision of which screenshot you like the most

Judging from the votes, Link3505 has gained a popular majority, congrats
