BTW, ... just FYI, ... and I know I can't speak for everyone here, but when I think of myself as a furry, It's very similar to the mindset that I'm in when I think of myself as a Jew.

It's very communal in nature actually. You walk into the group, everyone in the room greets you; you sit down on their sofa and get to chatting and find out all the things that you have in common. You identify more and more with the people in the group, and become "one" with them as you enter further and further into the community. ... so very, very social ... ...

heh, rexlaninetales, our paths cross again! Thanks for the post, btw, I really liked your explanation, (especially the "not about sex" part).

Same for everyone else here. I'm more of an, erm ... koopa myself, but after reading this topic there's something I have to say here too: I fully support furries! Go furries!

Koopas and furries could become the best of friends, you know.

...technically, the Goriyas are Demons, and Moblins are Goblins... however, both Demons and Goblins can take rather fantastic shapes (see inuyasha), so... who knows?

...oh, let's not forget Pig Ganon.

I only reacently discovered the phenomenon of "Furriness". As such , I am still making observations and studying them as a community and individually, and do not think it would be wise to draw any conclusion at this time.

I think they're a type of rat, myself... but that's what I mean... demipeople... like in Chrono Cross.

Oh, let's not forget the Zoras...

Well do you go off saying that when you see a supermodel on TV? They're practically shoving them right in your face on your own personal TV Time. Doesn't that set you off? icon_razz.gif If this does, that certainly should.

... ... ... You know, ... ... oddly enough, I'm pretty sure every alien race in the universe had said that (-furries +humans) when they first saw Earth.

It does. J-Lo should put some clothes on.
I hardly watch tv. There's nothing new anymore.
Now I play ZC a lot more.

But, your avy is shovin' 'em in everyone's face. You're such a hypocrite for saying so. icon_confused.gif

I can tell that you're a very sensitive person to such matters, so I won't take offense to your statement because there are infinitely worse things that one can do besides feature a catgirl with covered mammary glands as the avatar of that person's choice.

If I told you that I don't like bespeckled avatars, would I ask you to change?

Furries are alright, except when some sick loser draws a nasty sex scene of them. I don't consider myself a furry, but I do l like drawing "Talking Animals" although I never thought of them being furries.
