You mean 'the screen scrolling script which no-one has written?'

Video description says it. Also, this code is made in a old beta.
Most likely, the only possible smooth scrolling script is in blue_knight's Zelda 2 quest, and Gleeok's starshooter upcoming quest.

Personally, I think it's just a bit more trouble than it's worth, but then again, I didn't have delusions of remaking Zelda 2 so perhaps I just wasn't ambitious enough.

The reason my script didn't have collision and such is because I didn't bother to implement it. It would certainly be possible to extend my script to be more "complete", but it seems blue_knight has beaten me to the punch

Its been awhile since I looked at jman's the script code - but it was really only for demonstration purposes - you'd need to modify it a lot to make it useful for a real quest. I'm sure he could do it if he wanted to spend the time - but really you'd need to code it in context of a real quest to understand all the little things you need to handle. And this is why I haven't released it already - I want to make sure its fast and useful when I do. And I'll need to put together a large tutorial on how to use it as well, for example: how do you handle items, make enemies, handle combo flags, etc.
The good news is that I tried my demo on a 900Mhz eeMachine (mini-computer, low-end processor) and it still ran well - so it is practical if you code it right.

It certainly has an upside however! If you use it for a boss screen then everything is pretty much scripted for you!! -exept the boss that is.
PS- if it was glitchy try setting Link on a BLANK screen. Perception is reality, as they say.
