[The Satellite]

This was a thought that came to me when I introduced someone to OoT's Lost Woods theme and they promptly got it stuck in their head. Made me think about how there's a lot of catchy tunes in the Zelda series. So let's talk about them and enjoy them once again, as well as cursing each other for putting them back in our heads.

 

Lost Woods is obvious, but here's another contender: Dancing Dragon Dungeon.

My first thought is Dragon Roost Island. So immediately catchy. I always feel bad moving into another area because I have to make this lovely tune stop.

Ballad of the Wind Fisk from the classic Moosh quest.

...Well it was pretty good in Link's Awakening too.

ALTTP Dark Wold theme. I've listened to this track countless times and it never gets old.

Quite a number of songs from the Zelda games end up getting stuck in my head lol. More recently, Spirit Tracks' overworld theme has been playing in my head quite often. There's also the amazing Great Sea from the Wind Waker, which I also end up humming at times

Some of the shorter tracks (boss themes from early/low bit games) are pretty catchy. And annoying, because they're so short and keep playing for hours even when you're done with the game.

 

I'll say that I find the vast majority of tracks I like very catchy as well. Nearly all of them. Special mention to Z2's Palace theme. Also, just about anything fro ALttP and OoT

Song of Storms. This song is, to me, probably one of the catchiest tunes in Zelda. And I really like the song itself and the various remixes people and Nintendo have done to it (like Song of Storms from Brawl).

 

However, practically all the music from all the Zelda games is catchy to me because of how good it is.

The observatory in Majora's Mask, the final level in Zelda 2, and Kokiri Forest and its various remixes throughout the series spring to mind.

Also uber catchy: Gerudo Valley

 

Come to think of it, that has a similar (rhythm/tempo/beat - not sure what word I want) to Dragon Roost.

You can't have a catchy Zelda tunes thread without LINEBECK.

 

Say what you want about PH, but his theme is amazing.

 

EDIT: Speaking of Linebeck, Bulby recently did a cover of his theme!

but here's another contender: Dancing Dragon Dungeon.

Ditto.  I've always loved Dancing Dragon.   The moment I walked into that Level 4 Dungeon I was all "Hey, I can get used to this! "

 

The song I was going to link to is Midna's Lament.  It's a song that really sticks to you for how dire it is.
