Looks awesome. possibly another 'Zelda's Awakening' ?
with the overworld town FFantasy1 based map teleport towns + the battles with Monsters NES Zelda 1 style this time on all overworld maps.
(Unless touching a monster teleports you to a sideview battler field which then after leaving it brings you back where you left off on the worldmap = memorized positioning.)

I added the temples of Zelda II in the last temples of my project.

Currently, Thunderbird is not started (i'd like to do). The monsters in the Temples 1 - 6 are completed.
I will soon make Thunderbird and DarkLink.
In my project, The temples of Zelda II are bonus dungeons and they are very hard.
i increased the powers of the monsters and especially the bosses that are modified with new attacks.

I tried to make a basic version of Carock, but unfortunately I can't get the speed teleportation and instant firing with just the basic enemy editor (let alone make a large enemy of him) which is unfortunate as I think he'd be a fun boss to fight against in a quest!
Thunderbird shouldn't be too hard to do, especially if you are doing customizations of him

I finished Red Thunderbird and Darklink. Currently, I am looking for a way to make Blue Thunderbird becomes red after (Digdogger ?).
The Darklink room does not change as in the original. It becomes a transparent shade. I prefer not to show images but I can just say that I love result !
