Is there a way to remove heart containers using String Control Codes?

I have test it and this was the result.

I don´t know, it´s helping you. But without change a few things, the zc 2.5 going to crash, after click confirm. :)

Edit:

I have set under "Inits Data" - Misc the Heart Containers all to 0. And with this, it´s crashed.

I'm not sure what you've done, but I meant in-game, using the control codes you can put in in-game strings. Where you talk to someone and they take some of your life.

Health is just a counter. You just need to get the string control that lowers a counter max and lower it by 16.

The remove item code works with heart containers. For the default item number, it's \17\28.

Since I'm taking away a bunch of HCs at once, it's probably easier to use the counter one. Where can I find the list of which counters are assigned to which numbers?

I think they're listed under the "std_constants.zh" file. Checked it quickly and hearts are the "CR_LIFE" counter, which has a value of 0. So, (haven't tried it btw), you could use the \11\x\x string control code, and (bear in mind that one whole heart equals 16), multiply the Heart Containers you're removing by 16?
