Hey, guys.

I'm having a bit of an issue with converting some Link tiles properly from Firebird to DoR-Hybrid. I know about the hat vs tunic colors on Firebird Link; that's not the issue.

But it seems like Link has blue skin or black skin with the blue and red rings, respectively. I'm actually not sure what the exact issue is, other than can someone help me set up Firebird Link in DoR-H, including Link tile modifiers for shields and tunics?

I don't know if its a CSet issue, or a recoloring issue, or maybe an ID10T error.

For the record, I really want the GB_shield script as well, but I haven't implemented it yet, and I have a whole mess of scripts already that Moosh helped me put in.

I'm in 2.54.

I'm willing to upload my quest file for you.

And yes, I am going to ask permission before committing to Firebird Link. I just wanted to see if I could get it to look good before I did.

Link's sprites are done in the Link Sprite Pal.

It's under I believe it's under Palettes->Sprites->Link.

The Link Sprite Pal under the ring items will show you which Link Sprite Pal CSet to look for.

I am not sure about 2.54, but like Shoshon said it should be a simple matter of choosing the wrong colors. You don't need to upload the file, you can simply upload some screen of the palettes (main and the ones for extra sprites), that will be enough to help you.

The ZC-folder includes a txt.file (I think it's Zquest) that gives you a good amount of information how many things work (you could just search for palette in there). It doesn't answer anything, but I found it to be a big help.

Regarding the firebird link sprite you don't need to ask for permission, just credit the firebird tileset (best with a link to the tileset-page), that will be enough.
