Amazing work, I will definitely use this tileset.

I would love to see the bigger enemy and link tiles from this screenshot being thrown into the bonus folder, they are just too good and I would really like to use them.

I'm going to make blonde Link just to see some tables flipped over.

Oh, and I got dungeon walls similar to Firebird's. Not sure if I should finish these though... what do you think?

I just opened up the tileset and sprited up a bubble. I can't seem to get the fire or animation right but the fact that I was able to sprite something at all speaks a lot for how amazing Firebird's palette structure is. Great work Supindahood, Linkus, and Sheik. Your tileset makes lame men walk and blind men see.

It's AWHN!

No but really, you should append those walls to the set.  I also feel like there should be 16x16 variants of all the TMC/FS walls here.

The Link sprites are made by Bourkification I believe, but they are incomplete. We used them as placeholders before we got our own!

As for the big enemies, Sheik tried to make some, I don't think there Is a full set but check with him.

If it's not a hassle, would it be possible to have enhanced sprites of all the GB/LttP bosses sitting in the tilepage for scripters to have fun with? Ripping in the regular ones would probably look odd next to all the custom stuff :P

MC water update.

And how to use the transitions:

Spoiler

For the animated stuff, 4 frames, speed of 15 works perfectly.

EDIT: Also, I can't seem to find any "Grassy Mountains" combos or tiles anywhere other than screenshots. Is there something I'm missing? I got the version from the OP here.

Minor changes and a new palette (tMC Royal Crypt). The tiles and palette are WIP (still trying to get used to the palette structure), so I wouldn't recommend ripping them just yet. Also while it may look a bit simple, the tile set up is a little comprehensive though due to alignments of the "top parts" of the walls.

And best yet, they manage to fit well with existing dungeon tiles!

There is a grass overlay tile that you apply on the bottom of mountain tiles. You can also use these on a few other tiles that doesn't have inbuilt transitions. The combo is 433 and found on combopage 1, after the sand tiles - and it looks like this:

It's really good to see people engaged in helping out with bonus stuff for the tileset!

Update: Dungeon torches!

mrTP2Cy.png

I made some new torches. These will either need to:

- Use 8-bit mode to correctly work with the CS-2 greys and CS-5 reds.

- Use CS-5 only (this will use the other greys that appear in the CS-5 tier)

If you want to make your own torches, you can use this one as a base!

You will find these tiles in future versions of the tileset. If you want to use them before, go ahead and rip them in!

Mmm I see now, though the mountain itself isn't there. It's just the overlay. Perhaps I grabbed this tileset too early? :P

Either way, it's too late now. I've done too much work ripping in and making my water to change it.

I'm pretty sure the overlays and the mountains are not on the same page.

I absolutely love the overall look of this tileset. 6 tiles out of 5
More than likely going to begin making a mini-quest with this. ^_^

I never updated the download link so no worries. You are supposed to layer that grass tile over the mountains.

You should make a little tutorial for some of the stuff in the tileset, such as how to use them correctly.
Would go great with the release :P

Yeah I planned to make a little screen designing topic. I might make it after another tileset update!
