I hope this topic gets pinned. icon_blink.gif

A lot of people ask for midis and junk(not lately, but still.) Most of us tell each other to go to VGMusic for all your video game music needs. But what if you don't want a song that was already used in a video game? What if VGMusic doesn't have what you want? Heres to hoping a small index can be made for all your midi-picking needs.

Video Game Music(Midi)
  1. VGmusic
  2. RPG Gamer
  3. Cranium7's site
  4. Galbadia Hotel
  5. Charas Project
  6. Mirsoft
Original Music(Midi)
  1. PureZC's Music Section
  2. MIDIs from Forgotten Bloodlines
  3. Bjorn Lynne's original MIDI's
  4. Composition Music Contest
  5. Zagronia - Zagro's Original MIDIs - He has some video game remixes and MP3s too
  6. Collection of around 500 original MIDI files
Other Music(Midi)
  1. MidiDB
  2. Piano Midi
  3. Free Midi
Video Game Music(MP3/Ogg/etc)
  1. MC LOZ's MP3 player
Sound Effect FilesPost below to add to this list! icon_biggrin.gif

Here's one for VG:
http://cranium7.tripod.com/sounds.html

RPG Gamer also has a lot of MIDI's. Just type in the name of the game in question, and it should show up under the "Media" section of the game's bio.

For non-VG MIDI's, here's http://www.mididb.com/. It has a lot of MIDI's based off of actual songs.

gh.ffshrine.org

I used to get a bunch of MIDIs from there, but as of late it has been... urm... broken. It really frustrates me because, not only does it have MIDIs, but it also has MP3s, sheet music, manga and more! I just decided to post to let people know it exists, but it doesn't work for me...

So, yeah, I don't care if you don't add it to the list, but you never know if it'll come back to life! icon_wink.gif

You mean Galbadia Hotel? It still works...but I never knew that they had MIDI's...if they did, there's none now icon_shrug.gif .

There's also Mirsoft.info. Both MIDI and other formats there, although you have to register to download bigger files, which is the only downside, and I think its actually quite ridiculous, but it might be of use to somebody.

Don't know if this is till going, but piano-midi.com has a bunch of piano MIDI's...as the title suggests. If you for some reason need a classical piece, it's most likely here.

This is a handy list of resources for MIDIs. icon_wink.gif

*Sephiroth gets out a thumb tack and pins this to the top of the board.

Yes it is very useful for MIDIs.

Thanks for pinning it Sephiroth!

Ok, i know of a website where you can get all the MP3s from Every Zelda game ever released.

http://www.mcloz.net/mp3player.html

Very useful for getting those "hard to get" Zelda mp3s icon_wink.gif

they're all music already in PZC's database. icon_shrug.gif

OH... Here's why. It's Espilan's site. icon_redface.gif

I see there are a few on here that don't seem to be in the database...

Added the Rise of the Triad .wav files to the first post. They're pretty good actually, depending on your needs.

The filehost is dead. I put it here instead.
