Oh, Shoelace's screenshot just calls out to me. Jonathan's is very nice as well, but I'm not actually sure how "Custom Drawn" it really is, where as I KNOW how much Shoelace puts into his quests. OMEG's is just .. interesting. o_o;

Shoelace, because what I'm seeing is a nice mix of recent and
prior graphics from Zelda games that I actually didn't think could blend in!

Jonathan really doesn't look custom-drawn, but like a
photograph off a early 24-bit Final Fantasy game.
(IaN was right, though. Dim and even out the green, plese! And what's with the water?)

I vote for Shoelace, just because of all the extra little details I find in it. There are the waterfalls with translucent spots in them, splashing against the water, the leaves, the cloud shadows... Even the minimap looks great. Something about that shot just gives me a sense of a large explorable world... I'm not sure why.

OMEG's appears to be in the original (four color) Gameboy palette, and it's a great shot taking that color limitation into account, but I don't think it is enough to be the Shot of the Week. :\

Jonathan's is nice as well, but the mountain style doesn't really fit in with the rest of the scenery. Also, the blinding green grass seems just a bit too bright in contrast with the rest of the shot. Great job with the transparent water, though.

Hey, there were no animated shots this time... That's a pleasant surprise.

I voted for Shoelace. while Jonathan's is uberlicious, those mountains lack perspective; the diagonal mountains are the normal wall faces, but sahded. Shoelace's is just a better screen setup (though, a bit of grass wouldn't hurt)

Yep, correct. I didn't expect it to win, I mainly wanted to see how people'd react. :P

If I weren't part of this, I'd have voted for Shoelace's. It's awesome, hold the odd colors on the trees. And for Jonathans- I agree about the grass needing to be darker. If you did that, then it'd look great. There's also the odd mountain shading, although it's not as bad as the grass issue.

Well after like 20 losses of pictures of HoD, I finally had a picture of my new game. There is a demo of the game in the Spring Expo, so I hope you enjoy.

Anyways, Jonathan's shot is still awesome. He has a lot of great tiles. However, I have to argee that the colors aren't exactly right.

OMG, Shoelace is winning! At last!

...I was gonna enter this week, but I thought it was SSotM. Stupid me.

Jonathan: Nice shot, but the mountains kinda ruin it for me. They just don't look... real.

OMEG: Green. Very green... Too green.

Shoelace: Niceness. It looks mountainous, but the wind-lines and shadowing and stuff make it look airy, too. Mabye that's just me though. This one gets my vote.

I voted for jon's. But, that green is a bit bright.

OMEG's was really interesting, and cool, but it needs a little more detail if you ask me.

Shoes is good, but, I don't see what the big deal is sorry if thats mean, but, it doesn't seem to catch the eye as much as the other two did...
