Medusa can be one-shotted if the regular enemies drop the necklace when dying.

They can likely drop the hourglass too if you didn't change the drop table.

Looks like you mean those little orange/white medusa heads that appear when you blow the whistle at Queen Medusa? I have changed their dropsets, so they drop useless dust piles. Update coming soon.

How can the Zombie Dragon be killed. The best I have been able to do is sever 1 head. If a 4 headed dragon is this early in the game I am giving up.

In old betas, there was a death knight here as boss.

Back where you get the money for the money or life room IIRC.

I finished the quest.

The controls weren't any fun until I switched around my B and Ex1 keys, so that I was jumping around like with a B button selected roc's feather and I used the A key for items. I really don't like when both A and B items are to be selected and I can't switch the B item with y/x. But here I used just whip 99% of the time anyway, there are some items I haven't even tried...

The difficulty was on par with Castlevanias, bringing the usual "ragequit now, continue days later anyway" procedure. It was the worst at Clock Tower, Death and the first half of block 7.

I also must say, I initially expected this to be a Metroidvania Castlevania... Oh well, I love the old style Castlevania, too.

I think I found all or at least most secret items, since I was whipping walls and floors and ceilings everywhere.

I liked the quest.

One of the very best of 2013/2014.

What is a crossover? A pityful pile of secrets!

"You steal players' sanity!"

"Aren't all questmakers doing that?"

So I'm fighting the Medusa boss and I noticed there are 2 indestructible heads. I've been trying to kill them, but I don't know how. Am I missing an item here?

I just beat this quest. I didn't play original Castlevania, though had a good time, thanks.

Yup.  I blow the whistle.  She splits into a bunch of heads like a digdogger.  I go to work on them.  All but two die.  Those two I hit 100 times and they keep on ticking.

That`s really strange... It always worked properly for me. Which OS you use? What is your PC specs?

EDIT: I have assembled a new build, where Queen Medusa kids can be killed in one hit with CV weapons. See, if it works.
